This was made known by the Police Public Relations Officer of Abia Command, DSP Maureen Chinaka.
According to her, the incident which happened in Asa Umudioka autonomous community in Osisioma Ngwa LGA of Abia State, was reported to the Police Divisional Headquarters in Osisioma by the head of Asa Umudioka vigilante group on 16/05/2025.
She explained that the head of the community vigilante group had reported that the group heard a loud scream and upon arrival at scene, saw fire coming out from the house of one Mr. Udochi Amala, who resides in the area.

She added that detectives from Osisioma Division promptly visited the scene of incident and recovered the corpse of the child and deposited it the morgue.
The police spokesperson continued: “Mr. Amala’s wife, who sustained critical burns, was rushed to the hospital, while the suspect, Mr. Amala who also sustained injuries, was arrested and taken to the same hospital for treatment.

ReplyDeletemay Mrs. Amala and her daughter's soul rest in peace.
If only people accept that you cannot OWN another human being, whether your spouse or not. You cannot control another person. God gave us all free will, and if your spouse exercise their free will, you must let them and let go. Don't allow anger make you kill someone cos they didn't live up to your expectations.
ReplyDeleteMany will never understand this for as long as they live. Ultimately, ppl are free and will do as they wish whether it is viewed as immoral or criminal.
