Nigeria's Ex First Lady Patience Jonathan Gives Testimony After Bagging A Doctorate Degree

Imagine her voice and use it to read her testimony....

Ex first lady, Patience Jonathan has come to testify to God's goodness after bagging a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Psychology, Guidance and Counseling from Ignatius Ajuru University of Education.

While speaking during a testimony session at Streams of Joy International Church in Abuja, she recounted her struggles and triumphs while pursuing her doctorate degree.

In her words;
"At times, my lecturer would get me angry;go and repeat this page, I would say this man don't know that am old o, very soon I would leave this thing and go and rest because what am I going to do with it, it's just to keep the brain moving
To God be the glory, that thing that seems impossible, God made it possible and I graduated
Before you will know it, last week was my graduation,I give glory glory, I give papa the glory, I say God thank you, if patience can make it, you the younger ones can make it, no age limit in education , you're 100 years, you can make it, you're 10 years, you can make it, just determine and you will go there, El ROI, I thank you father I glorify your name"

  17. I’m a lover of good things but it reeks of shallowness and money worship plus sickening collective amnesia when looters like this are congratulated on their latest acquisition that is totally meant for their ego. After steaming $bils as Bayelsa 2nd lady, Nigeria’s First Lady, perm sec ministry of education Bayelsa ( which she greedily held at the same time as she was First Lady) how many scholarships has this woman given to the masses she stole from. It seems steaming is going to continue since Nigerian youths are serious worshippers of money and are incapable of deep reflections on the history and future of Nigeria. Do these folks like Mrs Jona think the world is about them? I know many young Nigerians with $0000s of student loan debt in the US and many in Nigeria when families like Joba, Abacha, IBB, Tinubu, Abdulsalam, Ibori, Emefiele, etc swim in ill gotten wealth they are unwilling to invest in young people? It is not so hard to be minimally sensitive to the hardship of Nigerians, it’s all around you on the streets, in the papers, on TVs, it’s serious poverty in the land. All they care for is their disproportionately sized egos. Yet their victims congratulate them on pages of blogs they probably won’t read. Start to criticize them and call them out. They actually pay attention to such. Not sycophancy.
