Lol.
ReplyDeleteApologies, darling, but that shift will take generations. Too many of us were raised to depend on men for money, and many mothers passed that same mindset to their daughters - so the cycle lingers. Some women are swayed by peer pressure or the weight of appearances.
Yet it takes real self-worth to recognise the need for financial independence, to navigate modern life with dignity. Without it, she risks becoming little more than a man’s plaything in a society that already leans heavily toward misogyny - trapped, often by her own choices, only to later cry foul.
Many already know this, but as the saying goes: some would rather cry in a Ferrari than laugh in a Volkswagen.
Care should never be tied to gender, even though men are condemned to be providers. More than anything, embody the kindness and peace you long for.
Gemamama, please keep quiet. Enough of these show show I'm working. Boring.

ReplyDeleteEveryone should work for their money
ReplyDeleteHonestly, there is honour in a mom who stays home to raise her children and instill good character and morals in them, be there to watch and keep them from harm, and mold the family unit together.
ReplyDeleteThe proverbs 31 woman did all these and still purchased a vineyard with her earnings. Go and work!
DeleteWorking for my own money is very soothing.
