Drama King Teejay's CORNER

A Few days ago, I looked at my wardrobe and saw some collections of beautiful wears and shoes. For some seconds, I paused and flashed back to when life hit so hard on me.

At age 27, I had attained a millionaire status. I have seen and touched some millions, though not in large quantity but a good money at the time compared to today's value.

Around 2010, I was duped in Lagos where I lost a huge sum of money to criminals on a business transaction. It happened so fast and till this day, Lagos holds a sad memory for me.

How I survived that period only God knows. I couldn't tell anyone, cos I was so weak and shocked about it all. I sold personal belongings to offset debts and Life became somewhat tough and difficult for me but I had to survive.

I struggled to survive in pains. Honestly, I have seen worse and difficult days in life.

Sometimes in life we cry remembering the days we once laughed, and other times, we just smile remembering the days we once cried. I have gone through both.....
In 2012, through a friend's assistance I got a job in a company where I worked for couple of years but then, it wasn't my thing on a salary job. I desired going back into business, so I couldn't cope or fit in perfectly on the job. My mind wasn't just settled or relaxed.

Some of us come from families we had no advantage of wealth by default. Life has been what it is. We'll keep grinding. It doesn't matter what we've lost in life, we won't ever give up nor forget where we come from. When we forget where we come from, we have lost it all.

I'll always be grateful to God for the gift of life and to family, friends and strangers who showed up when it counts. To them I say, 'thanks for being a rock to me.' Their kindness and support means the world to me. I never took them for granted.

There's always a message and a lesson in every pain we go through in life. God favors the strong and will always provide. I believe He definitely carved my path to where I’m today and where I'm headed to.The peace that comes with pouring out ourselves to Him is unmatched.

Stay strong! You'll overcome.

  4. Life really is a circle of sorts. There's lessons to be learnt along the way in each circle. During rough and low patches, it is always good to keep in mind that it can and will soon pass.

  5. Life is unpredictable o. The thing is when we fall, we should not stay down. Like Johny Walker, we keep moving 🏋️

  6. This your story of getting scammed and not telling anyone reminds me of my own.
Someone I didn't know before came to my shop and asked for goods on credit and I foolishly agreed just because of slow sales.😩 I was waiting for my money, and even went to look for the person where I was told they stay - NOTHING.
I was so ashamed of myself and refused telling anybody about it.😣
