I mean, one is saying, "Lord, I'm in your presence," and the other is saying, "Guys, look at this ministration!"
We see this every Sunday in Nigerian Churches but you can never find anyone in a Mosque bring out phones....
I saw a video where the Preacher was telling them to keep their phones and they recorded her saying it and posted Online as well......
Do you find this habit OK? Or are you part of the recorders and snappers?
Some even tell people to record them and they begin to speak in tongues and act for the camera..in church oh!
Lets gist!

I see them scrolling Instagram and WhatsApp too, sometimes for long. I don’t know if they will remember any of the service. At least they are physically there and something may reach them in the presence.
ReplyDeleteSocial media addiction is breaking all rules of etiquette. A close relative who lambasts social media all the time was at the dinner table watching her YouTube video, as though she was home alone. I had to call her out and she turned it off. The thing is children were at the table. So many parents and respected relatives are teaching these young ones horrible habits while they sit and talk disparagingly about young ppl of today, all while painting themselves as paragons of virtue.
it is a dishonouring act before the King of kings and Author of the Universe, the one who by a snap of his fingers can take ones breath away.
ReplyDeleteWe won't do these things before our employers or before the BAT, so why do we do it before the Lord. Very disrespectful behaviour.
I don't like to be photographed in the house of God,where I want to be absolutely broken and vulnerable to my creator.i am a genuine worshipper and completely sold out for christ. Thank you Jesus.
