Reacting to the remark, Oshiomhole said if they can not resist, they need reorientation and should deal with Italian men. He added that the law of economics is without demand, there can be no supply, and that many of the victims didn't go through Libya but through the Italian embassy. He further stressed that if the Italian government addresses the demand (their men), the Edo and Akwa Ibom State governments can tackle the supply side(the girls) so as to curb human trafficking and prostitution which Oshiomhole described as national concern.
