US To Temporarily Shut Down Embassies Around The World On Sunday.

This is some scary ISH......

The United States will temporarily shut down its embassies and consulates around the world Sunday -- including those in Iraq, Afghanistan and Egypt -- as a precautionary measure over terror-related concerns, State Department officials said.
State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf did not say how long the international installations would stay closed -- only that the decision was taken “out of an abundance of caution and care for our employees and others who may be visiting.” Officials would not describe the nature of the threat.

Sunday is a normal workday in many Arab and Middle Eastern countries, meaning that is where the closures will have an impact. Embassies in Europe and Latin America would be shuttered that day anyway.
“We have instructed all U.S. embassies and consulates that would have normally been open on Sunday to suspend operations, specifically on August 4,” a senior State Department official said Thursday night. “It is possible we may have additional days of closing as well.”
Other U.S. officials said the threat was specifically in the Muslim world.
The issue of security abroad has been prominent since the attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi, Libya, and a string of demonstrations on other U.S. embassies in the Middle East and North Africa.
On Thursday, measures to beef up security at U.S. embassies were passed out of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. The bill is in response to the Sept. 11, 2012 attack on the diplomatic post in Benghazi, Libya, where Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans were killed.
The Senate bill creates a training center for diplomatic security personnel.
Separately, the House Foreign Affairs Committee authorized full security funding for diplomatic missions -- despite recommending a nine percent cut overall for State Department operations.
The House and Senate have already approved spending bills that cover embassy security. But their budgets differ markedly in other areas.

  2. What is scary about the shutting down of their embassies? The US government has been using their embassies around the world as spy centres and as places where they create conspiracies to attack other countries. The impact of the US government in different countries has never been felt in a positive way. They are charging people like Bradley Manning to court for disclosing their spying contents to wikileaks. They forget how much their spying and untrue information have led to the death of thousands of people. We also known how Snowden recently disclosed of the US spying of other countries and people's privacy. Why are they worried about the safety of their citizens after they have caused many souls to be wasted due to their attacks, invasions, and untrue information they put out to the world? Oh, the American blood is holier and more sacred than the blood of non-Americans so it is worthy to be spilled.
Nonsense. Racist country, racist constitution, imperialist country....it will surely be in doom soon.

  9. I just found two comments out of place. I have put up a constructive argument which is debatable. Instead of debunking the argument with proof, some idiots are linking it to discipleship of terrorism. Does raising the case of Bradley Manning make someone a terrorist? Is Snowden, An American, who disclosed the US government's illegal operations in other countries through its proxies and embassies a terrorist? Does making the argument of the transparency of these two great American individuals with conscience make one a disciple of terrorism?
Well if you disagree with me that US is in doom, then you are surely in disagreement with the current order. China is coming top....the US economy is falling everyday. More people are becoming unemployed. The US is an imperialist state.....illegal occupations, invasions and lacks transparency.....It is obviously a racist country that has no regard for people of colour. Obama himself spoke recently about the case of Trayvon Martins and many other incidences suffered by blacks in that country.
Agree or disagree with me, the US embassies in different countries have been centres for spying of foreign governments and people's privacy and also a place to construct their conspiracies. There is no debate about that. Bradley Manning and Snowden have shown us many proofs and you are here with your dumb heads accusing me of being a disciple of terrorism. Put up a constructive argument and I will agree with you (and that is if it is convincing with proofs). Daft idiots. Sorry Stella for using your fine blog to insult some idiots.

  11. Topdawg ignore the morons please! I agree with everything you've said. Also, the money is not in America anymore, it's mostly in China. There a vid somewhere on YT of the former president of the world bank or something like that giving a speech in Stanford uni talking specifically about this. Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6a0zhc1y_Ns . Also use google to find out more. America has failed and so has the rest of the western world. But some Nigerians refuse to see that; still fighting for green card and red passport. All these American politicians talking about terrorism is a way of distracting Americans from the real issue of the fact that they now or will soon only have a small share of about 20% of the worlds money. About 80% will be shared between China, India and Africa, hence all the travelling of the Chinese to countries in Africa and India. GEJ was recently there too cus Chinese have a huge interest in Naija and other African countries. Please just watch the vid so you can understand me better. America is no longer rich, in fact they're owing the most money out of all the nations in the world. So if you are reading this and was thinking about relocating to US, think again. In fact, think about China instead since there's a lot of business opportunities over there.

Something strange is about to happen over in America, mark my words. I'm not even talking about them being poor, I have a strong feeling all is not going to be so good for Americans in the next few years. I'm saying this because they've started building NEW concentration camps, for who though? Blacks? Immigrants? But surely not the 'pure blooded' Americans though! Also, black people make a very small percentage of the US (I think maybe around 15% or less, yet they make up the most % of prisoners. Why? And now the economy is getting worse day by day, they'll look for a scapegoat (black people and immigrants I guess) to blame things on like the Germans did to the Jews in the Holocaust. SDK sorry for the long post, but I just had to let it all out because I've been thinking about this issue for a long time now. It worries me. You've been warned people! Peace.

  14. If we debate U.S.A we no go finish. I agree with some of Topdawgs comments. All this hyperreaction leads to even more finance for their defence at the end of the day its all about their national interest.

There is a long list of Americans who believe that America helps enlarge the scope of freedom around the world by staying strong; husbanding its power; creating a stable, liberal order; and encouraging economic and political reform. The United States, like any nation—but especially because it is a great power—simply has interests that do not always cohere with its values. Yes its interest is to adjust the balance of power and seeking to adjust the balance of power in one’s favor has been throughout history an amoral enterprise pursued by both liberal and illiberal powers.after Saddam Hussein had gassed thousand of Kurds to death in northern Iraq in 1988, even a “truly ethical” secretary of state, George Shultz, committed a “moral outrage.” Yet Shultz basically ignored the incident and continued supporting Saddam in his war against Iran, because weakening Iran—not protecting the citizens of Iraq—was the primary American interest at the time.
THE PRIMARY GOAL OF ANY AMERICAN N.G.O (ALLEGEDLY SPIES MASKING AS N.G.O OR ANY AMERICAN EMBASSY BENEFITS ONLY AMERICA.

Its all a show of power which masks its primarily goal, in three words; money, power, o i l

Stella thanks for the BB add and sorry for my blunder too. :)
