DeleteIt's times like these I wish I'm from the East. Honestly, I feel like travelling to the East for Christmas. The stories I hear make me want to spend Christmas and other festivals there. Since I was born, I've spent every Christmas in Lagos except for thrice; when my dad took us to Whispering Palms at Badagry (isn't that Lagos too), when we travelled to Warri when he was transferred there and two years ago when I spent it in Abeokuta. ReplyDeleteTruth be told, despite the fact that I'm not in favour of either of OBJ or Jonathan, let's be honest with ourselves and admit that OBJ raised some salient points in his letter to the President, which the President has not quite responded to in his watery reply. (I can't still get over 'luckily a NEPA cable fell and prevented.....)
However, as rightly stated in the reply, these problems facing Nigeria did not start in 2011.
Although, some of them seem to have escalated.
So in my opinion, the blame is on the president, as well as OBJ himself.
