ReplyDeleteYes. It's a major cause of infertility. There's a hospital in calabar called Amanda Jarvis owned by the popular Dr. Efiok. He specialises on fertility issues and a****ion but he is gooooood. Women who go to him for fertility related problems first get their tubes flushed then he gives u time to keep trying before moving to the next step of treatment.

To the glory of God she survived. ReplyDeleteI had the same issue of block fallopian tubes. The only solution my Dr gave me then was IVF. Had 2 ivfs and it failed. Next solution was to use a donor egg which I rebuke immeddiately. Fast forward 2months after the Dr's negative report, I took in naturally, without any surgery or medication. Exactly 2yrs after my first delivery(baby boy) , I deliver a bouncing baby, she is 10months old today. So let ur friend put all her trust in God, he is the giver of children. To the lady with the vaginal itch, boil water, mix with salt and dettol.....put in a bucket. Pls make sure there's enough steam coming out of the bucket and be sure its something you can sit comfortably on. Tie a towel round your waist to cover any opening and prevent the steam from escaping. Sit on it and stand for a few seconds when the steam is too much....do this for a while and u can keep adding a kettle of water when that gets too cold to release steam. When u are done, pat your vagina dry with a clean cotton towel, then lie down and spread your legs towards a fan or a/c. This should provide temporary relief pending when you will get results.

ReplyDeletestella,at times HSG can be wrong.ps advice your friend to go for a laparoscopy.I was wrongly diagnosed with blocked fallopian tube through HSG,thank God my mum is a nurse and with prayers and faith,i went to university of benin teaching hospital and had a laparoscopy done and it turned out my tubes werent blocked but rather there was a spasm because i got scared when the catheter used for the HSG was inserted into my V hence the wrong result.The doctor then started treating me for PCOS and i backed this up with prayer and faith. Today i'm a testimony of God's goodness,i'm in the US with my newborn baby and cant stop thanking God as i await my return back home. Please,if you are diagnosed have a laparoscopy done,no matter the cost because my doctor said operating a blocked tube sometimes does more damage than good.

ReplyDeleteThe comments I have read here worries me big time. Reproductive health matters shouldn't be treated nonchalantly. Sitting on a bowl of hot water and dettol may give relief but has not treated the underlying sickness. In most cases the bacteria or virus mutate and cause other damages. Self medicating is dangerous. Even common issues like candidiasis should be treated properly. Many cases of infertility that we have these days is as a result of badly treated infections. ReplyDeleteDear poster with swelling in one part of your clit. Its called batholin cyst. Google it. The pain is sooooo bad. It comes and goes. Use hot water to press it while bathing each time u notice it. It will disappear in few days.
