Abia State Governor, Chief Theodore Orji, has condoled Vice-President Namadi Sambo over the death of his immediate younger brother, Captain Sabo Sambo, who died recently in a ghastly car accident along Airport Road, Abuja.
Governor Orji who described late Sabo as a respectful and hard working gentleman, said his death was a huge loss to the aviation industry in the country.
The governor who disclosed this in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Charles Ajunwa, prayed God Almighty to grant the second family and the immediate family of deceased the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
"I received the news of the demise of your immediate younger brother with shock and disbelief. He was a fine pilot par excellence who until his untimely death showed strong commitment to the Nigerian project. Late Sabo's sudden death came at a time when his wealth of experience and expertise were needed in the development of the country's aviation industry.
"I pray God Almighty to grant his immediate family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. Though his exit was painful but you should be comforted that he served his fatherland to the best of his ability. My heart felt sympathy
also goes to the government and people of Kaduna State. They should see their son's death as an act of God. I pray that his gentle soul rests in peace."

ReplyDeleteFor more info on this, pls read:
http://www.dailytrust.info/environment/22810-dangote-writes-states-demands-n1-2bn-flood-money
I can confidently confirm now that Stella is on the payroll of the Abia State Govt. In other words, the State Govt's Media/PR funds are touching Stella's bank account. You cant deny it! Why accept money from these good for nothing and corrupt Govt officials. You are also encouraging corruption! Stella, please desist! Don't sell your conscience and goodwill. Don't partake of blood money meant for the general good of the people. Luv you.
ReplyDeleteLmao, Nigerians!!!, always angry at every little thing. death is death people, so as per the Governors condolence to a fellow Politician, i see nothing wrong in that. lets stay focused and channel our efforts and thoughts positively
ReplyDeleteNews..

ReplyDeleteTA is an undisputed failure. Went 2 abia state dis easter n can comfortably tell u that he's d worst gov in africa. I wonder if he checks out his neighbouring states like imo anambra akwaibom etc damnnn I spit on his face spits spits!!! #SEE#
ReplyDeletePlease remove anambra from that list, you can replace with Enugu if you wish. Anambra is nothing but a very large unkempt motor park thanks to her 'un'able former gov peter tortoise-chameleon obi.
DeleteMay those supporting Thief Orji neva see good when it comes. May the plague suffered by the biblical egyptians be their fate.Amen

ReplyDeleteStella, really is this news for your blog. We don't want to know if any governor has sent his condolence to sambo. What has this got to do with the price of fish?
ReplyDeletePeople should learn to keep quiet when they've got nothing to say. This is only a condolence message for Crissakes!
ReplyDeleteAnd Chelsea yaff hia heet
ReplyDeleteGod punish you for saying rubbish. You are insane and your OUK paymaster is evil. Kudos to T A Orji for the transformation

ReplyDeleteKudos Sir T.A Orji for showing your sense of belonging in this as well, you always show you are part of the bigger cog of leadership in Nigeria.Keep doing the great work ,Abians are proud of you.Abia is truly God's own state
ReplyDeleteChief T.A Orji is not owning any teacher any salaries.please for your information, you want to distract people from knowing the truth? The In the last six months, a lot has been done in the education sector and dont start telling us that governor T.A owes teachers salaries,he has been a lover of education and has been of the note that education is the key,he has even bought buses ,which takes students to school, too and fro ,as a gesture to encourage education ,and he has made sure salaries of teachers are paid as when due. Please nobody should mislead us from the truth.Governor T.A has been outstanding in the area of education as well, many school, secondary and primary have been renovated ,some new structures built to bring a facelift in the educational sector and we are not complaining about that.all we have to say is thank Ochendo Abia.
ReplyDeleteOchenod Abia state ,we love you and support you in all you do :One of the greatest legacies of the Chief T. A. Orji’s administration in the state is the sustenance of peace in the communities. This has impacted positively on development.Proudly Abian
ReplyDeleteOchendo i ga di ooo,we are solidly giving you our support ,any time any day.every thing you do we are with you.keep the good work going ,we shall not stop offering you our prayers.God bless Abia state.
ReplyDeleteOchendo takes Education seriosuly and Education it is a key priority of the state government. Accordingly the state government has invested huge resources to that sector. There is a functional free transport services for students in Aba and Umuahia and this has alleviated the financial burden on parents. Scholarships have been instituted by the government for bright indigenes of the state to pursue academic programmes locally and overseas. Renovation of public primary and secondary schools is a continuous process and many dilapidated schools have been renovated and some new structures have been erected to ensure maximum out input and out of educational sector, and many schools across the state of abia have benefitted from this gesture.

ReplyDeleteT.A Orji has demonstrated governance with clinical avoidance of uneven disposition of democratic and political influence in order to balance energetic sense of purpose with a concern for the service of others,he has been a father,a brother,a son and a lover of his people and brothers ,he has achieved that as a factor and it has yielded dividends ,we are happy because he is truly a democrat...we ask that he continue in that way to insure Abia competes with the best state in Nigeria. We also did not forget his effort in empowering the youths.W e are happy to hear all the feat. Its a thing of joy
ReplyDeleteAbia State Government being piloted by Chief T. A. Orji is bent on providing the enabling environment for business to thrive in the state.
ReplyDeleteThat is why many investors are now interested more than ever before in partnering with the state government. The government has signed MOUs with various companies within and outside the country willing to do business with the state. Not long ago,Golden Guinea Breweries would kick off production once again,it is under rehabilitation as i speak, Alkamali Oil of United Arab Emirate entered into partnership with Abia State towards exploring opportunities in the oil sector.
Ochendo Abia ,i like your way,you are the man of the people, the man for the youths of Abia state, what more can i say other than to let people know that T.A Orji also take the health sector seriously ; in the health sector, the governor has been able to take health care to the door step of many Abians by the building of over 250 health centres that are well equipped. Also, it is no longer contestable that the state today, is a high ranking health tourist centre because we have a world class diagnostic centre that has become a destination point for those seeking for health care. As I speak now, we are upgrading two hospitals, the General Hospital at Amachara and the one at Okikpe and the good news is also that the dialysis centre any moment from now, will be commissioned by Governor T.A. Orji. In fact, it is one of the projects the governor promised Abians during his electioneering campaigns.
ReplyDeleteT.A is firmly cultured with attentiveness that will ensure he never gets distracted by the censure coming from any direction,as such is normal thing expected of people that are being governed. He is such a calm man,we love him.Meanwhile i join you in sending my condolence to the Sambo family for the death of their brother and son.Long live Abia state,we are the best in south east.Ochendo for senate ,we are behind you with our huge support.
ReplyDeleteFor i all i care,Governor T.A is an achiever,he has done pretty well in the area of security, Energy distribution, primary and tertiary healthcare, development of human capital through various youth empowerment Programmes, infrastructural development...in the area of education he has been immense,so i give Sir Ochendo a huge credit.Abia ga na aga niru.abum onye Abia.
ReplyDeleteOCHE BABA, UP YOU SIR,you are the man we know, you have changed the face of Abia state.I love you personally.the last time i came down on December i saw new essential structures like the workers secretariat, International Conference centre, remodeling of Abia hotels to boost the hospitality and tourism industry, the new high court buildings and among others .I support you Sir,and in this your good will message of condolence ,i send my condolence to Sambos, let them take heart.Abia Nma nma nu
ReplyDeleteOchendo’s Imprints is glaring for all to see...Less than 12 months to the end of his eight year reign in Abia, Governor Theodore Orji’s aggressive transformation of the state resonates to the higher echelon..
ReplyDeleteAbia gives you her support. For now you are the best governor that has taken that seat of power.May the soul of Sambo brother rest in peace
ReplyDeleteT .A Orji revitalization of a 5-ton/hour industrial oil palm at Mbawsi, a 2,600 hectare (1,500/ha of improved seedling)is somtin am proud of..Thanks Sir for remembering we the Ngwa people.......my support to you Chief Sir T.A..kudos to you!
ReplyDeleteTruly speaking i like this man called T.A ,he is such a cool man,It is true the the government of T A has a lot of challenges from opposition who fine it as a job to be critics against the government...especially in Aba which is the commercial city of ABia state, but the effort by the government to put Aba in a good condition is very visible mostly in roads...
ReplyDeleteI recognize the fact that some of the roads in Aba really needs attention...and am sure the Government will see to that..The governo can not do magic, but so far he is trying alot. am an Abian ,and i support my darling governor Ochendo Global...as for Sambo family Sorry.

ReplyDeleteTaken a smooth ride to Water side University of Nigeria Institute of Languages, there are roads ,reconstructed by T.A shows how much of a leader he is .At Milverton .i saw how he offered Luxurious bus owners and transporters long lease of life. The Milverton Road is better than what it was be4.Thank you gov.Theodore Orji.Keep it up.
ReplyDeleteThe Orji's administration, within the period of its liberation from the stranglehold of now expired political buccaneers, has shown determination to turn around the fortunes of an ordinarily promising state which suffered initial still-birth owing to the incompetent political midwives. But thank God as Ochendo has been able to restore the years eaten by the locust. From education to agriculture and power. From security to health ,commerce and industry, judiciary and infrastructure, the government has left its foot print in the mark of history book.
ReplyDeleteSir T.A has been brilliant in the affairs of Abia state,he has turn thing around for the better, and how he Marsha
ReplyDeleteEmpowerment and acquisition scheme for youths is something am still surprise of,he takes every body a long,I like whom he is
Abians are proud of Ochendo,I mean true Abians, not detractors....
ReplyDeleteUp Ochendo,Up Ikuku Abia, they are good people ,Abia support you all...Osinaulo is also doing great,we hear about her good will gesture. She is truly a mother
ReplyDeleteStella don't mind these idiots,na we be Abians,no be these Ofenmanu people who get paid to comes insult our Man Chief Ochendo.Abia Cantata first of its kind
ReplyDeleteOnye fe Eze ,Eze ruo ya aka, onye isi our kaa woo,Ikuku Ochendo di Abia Nima.
ReplyDeleteThe first time I entered umuahia after a few years away from my state due to search for greener pasture,I felt there was something different ,The Umuahia main market that was relocated is something great. That alone is a huge development.so haters cut the crap and give support to T.A.
ReplyDeleteIt's true that people expect more from T.A ,the truth is he has done more and gets slightly little praise than he so deserved...l was a guest at the The just concluded carnival ,visiting Abia the third time, there is improvement in Abia than the time of Orji Uzor Kalu.,...
ReplyDeleteIf there is one man I will give a thump up for what he has done so far in Abia.
ReplyDeleteGod bless our state ,God bless Ochendo and God bless every man who prays for the good of Abia.Abia must continue to move forward .
ReplyDeleteThere is no doubt we have a good governor in Ochendo and join those who will offer I'm a maximum support ,
ReplyDeleteT.A is one man that have made a big difference in governance in Abia state, with out even being praised by his haters, the fact still remains that Abia has experience great impact from his vision of transformation and life changing ideas

ReplyDeleteT.A is one man that have made a big difference in governance in Abia state, with out even being praised by his haters, the fact still remains that Abia has experience great impact from his vision of transformation and life changing ideas
ReplyDeletei want to join my governor T.A in saying CONDOLENCE TO SAMBO FAMILY
ReplyDeleteGovernor t a orji has done well in transforming Abia state,I regret to state that some of the commentators (by a section of the media though) on Abia Project is based on circumstantial evidence or hearsay and not on facts on the ground. If they could distance themselves from the evidence of a third party and come to Abia state to witness the actual happenings, their public perception of the events in Abia would be anything but prejudice; thus offering the reading public the best of their analyses on Project Abia.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, a trip to Abia will change the perception of some Lagos and Abuja based journalists who still mirror this God’s Own State from its position before 2007. It is worrisome to read that there are decaying infrastructure ie road, electricity, pipe-borne water etc in Abia when in actual fact the T A Orji’s government alone has provided more roads than all his predecessors (from 1991 when the state was created till date) put together. As at the last count, the 132KV at Ohiya substation that supplies electricity uninterruptedly to Umuahia, while the government had put up the machinery to provide pipe-borne water to the cities.
Today, every sector is being galvanized to achieve optimum result. Is it in health sector, education, agriculture, commerce and industry, housing, security etc that the government of Abia state is not prioritizing?
Time was when some people in the state particularly Aba fled the city because of the rampage of kidnappers. It took the intervention of T.A Orji with the support of the federal government and military to restore normalcy to the once dreaded city. Now that normalcy has been restored,
The government of Abia state presently can never be compared with the last government of people who has not vision, no plan for the state, the ares of change and transformation are very numerous, I remember who the last governor was here Abia state was in a mess, the people were poor but today the economic standard of Abia people has so risen with the new and conducive environment for trading provide by the governor, we respect you Ochendo for changing Abia for good.
ReplyDeleteWhen you hear that teachers are own salary is the hand work of haters, when you here Aba is this Aba is that.. Is the hand work of haters who have no eye to see the beautiful hand work of T.A in Abia, and am made to understand that they are paid like the nwagbaras who are paid to blackmail the government.
ReplyDeleteI know that the best government you can ever run is that is people oriented, that that has the welfare of the people at heart, that understand the state of the people, that is the kind of government Ochendo is running...every day I move around Abia state, I see the impact made by the youth empowerment by the governor. What a great touch to lives, generations will for ever remember and recall this great impact.
ReplyDeleteGod FORBID for such a person of your ORJI UZOR KALU to be a part of my dignified family, talkless of my being my father or brother. HE IS A TOTALLY DISHONEST PERSON, which we detest and abhor. You may chose not to listen to me, but the truth MUST be told even to those who don't want to hear it. These peeople(your EX Governor) we know he is the ones who bring Abia State down. If you care to read what other Abians are saying about OUK,i mean people from Isuochi to Uturu to Isuikwuato to Ikwuano up-to the Akwa Ibom border towns. He was NON-PERFORMER and one of the WORST GOVERNOR Abia State has. Even if you like support OUK , that he is one of those who want to run Abia State down, instead of you to hear from sane, neutral and non-beneficiaries from his loots. I do not need him or his clique to succeed any more in their policitcal career,he and ROCHAS are birds of the same feather , OUK WAS THERE FOR EIGHT YEARS ,no good Good roads, Sanitized environment and clean water for people like abians, who live in ABIA, am contributing because I have empathy and feel for the less privileged who are being used, especially to campaign for a FAILED ex Governor who suppose to be a leader but FAILED LEADER and was accused that Okija shrine was his home, I am sorry for those who cannot see beyond their horizones...but i see T.A as the right man who has channel success in its right place.
ReplyDeleteHave we even forgotten the bursaries paid to Abia students for the first time ever? I met an Abia indigene in Nigeria Law School, Abuja last week and he confessed that he received bursary and all through his 5 years in University, that never happened. Can we not try to give this man his due accolades?
ReplyDeleteIs it Liberation farms u want to talk about? People have become self sufficient thru Agriculture
ReplyDeleteI think over 2000 cars have been given out thru the youth empowerment program. Youths have been taken off the streets, crime has been curbed and security enhanced. Can you beat that?
ReplyDeleteI like to talk about issues. When people keep hurling insults at someone, I want them to justify the need for those insults. As far as I'm concerned, you all have been making fools of yourselves. With the meagre resources the state has, he's done so much. Some ignorant ones will want to compare Abia to Akwa Ibom and I will ask them to compare N3bn monthly to almost N50bn naira monthly.
ReplyDeleteYou people need to stop sounding stupid and try to read the news sometimes. Over dependence on Linda, Facebook, Twitter, elegushi etc is making you internet samurais more retarded than you already are. Come to Abuja and see jobless people like most of you blame Govt for all their failures. Loads of unemployable graduates everywhere moaning about their lot in life when they're actually too daft to get any meaningful employment. Even the clowns here who work, have u ever paid tax? Apart from the PAYE that structured organisations implement, would u pay on ur own? What right do u have to criticise govt when u r no better?
When u pee in gutters, throw stuff out of moving cars, clog gutters with sachet water, scheme to dupe customers or the next person, do you feel you are in a position to cast any stone?
You all live in glass houses, pls don't throw stones. Do your best to be model citizens first. The change you seek starts from YOU.
Even the Bible said my people perish cos of lack of knowledge, hw can sending a condolence message be a problem here? And moreover this is a working Governor who loves his people by creating class rooms 4 betterment of education cos knowledge is power and it develops the state at large 2) he recntly commissioned an eye centre dis little development was what his predecessor never did. So please kudos to T.A Orji jare
ReplyDeleteOchendo still remains the best that has ever ruled Abia.
ReplyDeletehahahahahahaha....i really had a good laugh on dis post,,,see how Orji's people( abi na d governor himself ) just took over the post praising him...these are names i have never seen or heard of on dis blog...whether Orji is good or not,,i dont know but i just hope he is......am still laughing ooo,,,lol..Naija,,i hail thee!!!
ReplyDeletehahahahahaha.....i really had a good laugh on dis post...see how Orji's people (abi na Governor Orji himself) took over dis post showering praises on him....whether Orji is good or not,,i dont know...but i just hope he is.....am still laughing hard....lol...Naija,,i hail thee.
ReplyDeleteOrji remains the best thing to have happened to Abia state.
ReplyDeleteGod bless Ochendo...!
