    I cannot take this depression anymore. I cannot take it. What is the point of being alive. Surely death will be better than this life I am living. I turn 40 in a few months, no husband, no child. I've been out of work for almost 2 years now. Why has God forgotten about me. Why does he not hear my prayers,. Isn't he tired of seeing my tears. No be me sin pass now. He answers people's prayers every day. Why has he turned his face away from me. I am not the biggest sinner. I know I have tried to live a simple and Godly life. Bigger sinners than me are mothers living in their husband houses. They have jobs and are doing fine,mi have cried, I have fasted, I have prayed, I have gone to MFM on 3 different occasions. What kind of life is this. Can't he please put a smile on my face. What have I done wrong. Even in my university days I was never one if those girls that slept around. It's ironical it's the girls that slept around that are living in Lekki and driving jeeps. I have never ever had a meaningful relationship. What is the point of being alive. I can't take this much .longer. I can't continue to live in this depression. I cannot.

One of my office friends said but that guy no fine o, I was embarrassed cos that is the first guy that has come to look for me in the office, I smiled sheepishly and left the office, the guy said we should go see a movie in silver bird I said no that it is Ikeja mall I wanted to go to, he said fine, when we got to Ikeja mall i told him I wanted to get some things in mac store, i picked everything I didn't even need, I can't buy mac wipes with my money but since it wasn't my money I picked every every. The guy ask me if I like him I said yes of cos. He said say the truth you don't like my looks I said haba you look good. He sha spent money that day, in mac he spent like 40k and we went to other stores I picked other things, d guy spent close to 100k that day. I know I can never date him but he is rich and I know girls will always take advantage of him. At least me I still have conscience I don't wanna lead him on. I decided to just have lil bit with this married man but I am regretting it now, the guy said he was going to get me drug in d pharmacy for my headache since 5:30 PM and be has not returned till now, he left one of his phones and went with the other one. I have pinged and called this married bobo severally he is not picking O. The time is 9:30 PM now and he is no where to be found. I don't know anywhere in Warri, I hope he is okay O. God help me I will never travel with any married man again. Maybe I should try and give this ugly young rich single bobo chance. God pls let this married bobo return safely make he no do me like African magic movies

    My dear, I have asked God to uplift your spirits. I understand your frustration on wanting something for your life and not being able to have it yet.
    But, I encourage you to look in the mirror and make the realization that you are allowing the supposed "lack" to keep you from the many ways that God has already blessed you. If you have good health, give a shout of praise. Are there friends and family around you who love you? Give a shout of praise. It is not Jeep that saves souls, Jesus does. And he promises to keep a roof over the head of those who love and follow him.

    Your focus, from your post, is so much on God sending you someone that you may be missing out on your life. Do you know who you are? Or have you been so wrapped up in having a husband that you have lost a sense of yourself? My sister, go and serve his people and do not look to God only to be a genie who grants your command, but a friend and confidant to whom you can grow close. Deepen your intimacy with God and cling to Him, serve his people, and focus on living as full a life as you can live. When you have a positive spirit and you are walking with purpose, you will see that people begin to notice. Right now, you are struggling, which I understand, but don't you think that others will pick up on that vibe? Maybe men are seeing you but thinking this girl is 'desperate' or too crazed for marriage and maybe they don't want the wahala. Please, sis, ask God to show you the things about yourself that you need to grow in and how to make you into a "good thing" for your husband.

    As for job, my dear, I know job in Naija is not easy o. But God has blessed you and made you Nigerian, one of the most resourceful groups of people in the world. Use your brain, hands, and feet to make something for yourself...face life with determination, not despair.
