DESMOND ELLIOTT INVITES YOU TO A YOUTHS’ INTERACTIVE SESSION!


Popular Nollywood actor/director-turned politician Desmond Elliott has declared his intention to run for public office in the upcoming 2015 elections. He seeks the seat for House of Representative under Surulere constituency of Lagos State.  




Knowing that he represents a very important demographic in society, an open interactive with the theme; ‘Today’s Youth, Today’s Leaders; Our Tommorow is Today’ is being organized in order to give the general public the opportunity to interact with him.

The interactive will also feature top Nigerian celebrities, live performances, comedy, music as well as motivational speaking all towards preparing the youth for participation in the affairs of their great Nigeria in 2015.



Venue: Eagles Club Opposite Shoprite Shopping Mall, Adeniran Ogunsanya street, Surulere, Lagos.

 Time:12noon | Date: Sunday 19th October  
Dress code: Green or White T-shirt /shirt



About Desmond Elliott

He is a vibrant, multi-faceted young Nigerian who believes in one Nigeria. Born of a Yoruba father (A Lagosian from Olowogbowo area of Lagos Island) and a Delta-Igbo mother, Desmond grew up in Jos, Plateau State and speaks Hausa fluently. 

To crown his complete metamorphosis as a full Nigerian, he is married to an Akwa Ibom woman and speaks Ibibio as well. As an Award winning actor and director in Nollywood ,(a self-sustaining, youth-drive enterprise) he has used his career to promote peace and unity in Nigeria and beyond, as well as been a good ambassador of the Nigerian youths in many capacities. 


A true philanthropist, Desmond has made immense contribution to the lives of many Nigerians through his work with the Sickle Cell Foundation, care for needy and underprivileged as well as water projects in various states to mention a few. His foray in politics is for the good and betterment of the Nigerian youth who have had their bright future clamped on for so long.


 It is believed that his fusion of fresh ideas and partnership with positive, purpose-driven organisations and individuals can only augur well for the general good. As 2015 looms ahead, it is only fitting that he step up to the plate and make the voice of the youths heard. What this country needs is an infusion of fresh new ideas and Desmond is that person to do just that. The youths should come out in their thousands and support him.

I love the fact that our young men are taking the bull by its horn,participating in politics now is good if they are really going to work for the good of their people and not to be worst than our current politicians. I like (9ice) idea about using his salary to help out his community. Now my question is, why don't you guys register a youth party instead of joining same PDP and APC bandwagon with those two parties its business as usual. I also wish INEC will allow independent party to allow people stand for elections without joining any political party.

  12. Okay. we've heard about this candidate's social background countless of times. What are his "academic' qualifications for this office??? As in what did he major in when he was in school??? What is his level of education? Education is the foundation tool that shapes a man's mind as well as his thinking so its crucial for a candidate to disclose this inform to his constituents.
    Thanks in advance to his camp for doing the "needful" and addressing this question.
