Governor Amaechi Replies Presidency's Memo And Calls Out Dr Reuben Abati..

The reply we have all been waiting for is here! *Shoki anhhhh*

Governor Rotimi Amaechi has replied Presidency's Robust open memo practically calling him out to stop political rascality and as many of us anticipated,Amaechi has responded.Read the President's open memo HERE

Gov Amaechi dancing *shoki anhhhhh....*
The Presidency had angrily reacted to a claim made by Amaechi that the the
cause of the frosty relationship between him and the Presidency was because President Goodluck Jonathan hates Rivers people and that the president ceded Soku oil wells in Kalabari to Bayelsa and 40 Etche oil wells also in Rivers to Abia state.
Amaechi also accused the wife of the president, Patience Jonathan of corruption. He said Patience wanted him to bring the money meant for Rivers people to Abuja.

In addition to that, Amaechi at a mega rally held in Port Harcourt held on Saturday October 25,2014 rubbished claims by President Jonathan that the All Progressive Congress (APC) was a party only on billboards.

In his reply to the statement from the office of President Jonathan, which accused him of “Political rascality,” the Rivers State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Ibim Semenitari said Governor Amaechi is an elected official and not a mere ‘prefect’.

Semenitari also faulted Reuben Abati, the President’s spokesman for failing to get his facts right before publishing the statement despite his wealth of experience.

She added that Amaechi never mentioned the name of the President nor his wife during his speech at the rally.
Semenitari said, “I would want to say that the Presidential Spokesman should be careful for the kind of threats he issues to an elected Governor.

“He should remember that the President is not a prefect of the governor. He was elected as President just as the Governor was elected as a governor, and Nigeria is a federation.
“And please, Abati should know his limits and need not attempt to cross his boundaries.
“It is a bit strange to hear the kind of comments coming out of the Presidency and this shows that the statement was already prepared before governor Amaechi spoke.

“At no point in his speech did Governor Amaechi make any references. His wife was not even discussed because she is not an official of government.

“I do not understand where or how Mr. Abati got his story, so we just take it that this is one of those clear indications of rascality within the Presidency trying to call a dog a bad name and hang it”....culled from SR

*Who wants to guess if there will be a response to this?

    1. They should even get the hell out, enough already. I have learned not to pay any mind to these politicians who claim to be at loggerhead with themselves. They incite the general public against themselves as their loyalists would carry their matter for head while they are enjoying. Only for u to later discover that they are friends behind closed doors. Meanwhile the hungry followers will be fighting for them ignorantly..some even lose their lives in the process.
Good example is OBJ vs GEJ. What ended their season of open letters? When they started laughing together did they invite us to the "peace making" meeting? So Amechi and co, gerout!!!!

  12. I find it preposterous (to put it mildly) that 'Government officials' would come on air and advertently make such deriding/lewd comments about themselves.

It is an affront on their sensibilities...

_____and I must add that I'm abased on their behalf.
Nigeria politics has a long way to go - if our 'supposed leaders' throw tantrums in public without shame/remorse...how do they expect we (the masses) to behave?

  14. I loved Amaechi during his first term but his second term is just a joke. I still love him thou for his forthright criticism. In as much as I hate this administration for the suffering and pains they have caused Nigerians, I think Amaechi should spend his time on relevant issues affecting his state and not irrelevant issues with GEJ. Everyone knows that GEJ administration is noting to write home about, including his administration mouth piece (Rueben) that has no shame. Just wondering how the likes of Reuben/Omkeri/ Doyin Okupe sleep at night with the lies they dish out daily. They should know there's life after GEJ, everyone will join us back as citizens soon.
I think is time Amaechi start planning for his future instead of fighting GEJ and family. If GEJ wins next election Amaechi should just run away from Nigeria because this administration will cook up allegation against him and jail him. He should channel his energy on building his legacy in Rivers after his tenure.

  16. I love Gov Amaechi. This is not a hidden fact. I love his outspokenness, his swag, his political jingoism and other xteristics too numerous to mention. But i feel this animosity has to end.
President Jonathan is your superior and YOU NEED TO ACCORD HIM SOME RESPECT,SIR. Again, many media houses reported the things you said which Madam Ibim is denying here. Darling Gov,please, let Prez Jonathan be. We are the ones suffering. Afterall,no man will come to the house of his "enemy" to help in beautifying it.(as you allegedly said the Prez has done no dev project in Rivers state).
God bless you,Sir. You are still my hero BUT this is sincerely how i feel in this case

    2. Gw, I'm with anon 8:50 on this. Haba @ born clueless...... Well, since the political parties sell their presidential form for a price range of 25-27 million, not including the amount a candidate will spend on campaigns and bribery, I wonder how the old ones will get out of the office and let fresh people in.

  35. Corruption has been there even before Goodluck thought of becoming vice Gov, vice president then president. Amaechi's case is that of a pregnant woman always looking for trouble. A servant cannot be greater than his master, and in this case, respect should be accorded to GEJ abeg. But that his dance na 'onye anhuruma dance' (drunkard dance). Mr. Reuben Abati if I were you I won't reply this fellow.
