The Electoral fortunes of the Lagos State PDP gubernatorial candidate, Mr. Jimi Agbaje, in the February 2015 general elections, received a major boost over the weekend with the inauguration of the Jimi Agbaje Independent Campaign group (JAICG).
According to the Group’s Director of Communication, Mrs. Victoria Falowo, its membership cuts across key players in the organized private sector (OPS),
Youths and Women Organizations, with no particular affiliation to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The major drive of the Group is to independently work with like minds in all sectors of the State by employing a very vigorous person-to-person and door mouth-to-door mouth campaign to see that their prized asset in the person of Mr. Jimi Agbaje, a thoroughbred Lagosian and professional par excellence, emerge Victorious in the February elections.
Already as part of ways in the achievement of their goals, the group has gone ahead to set up a website and social media platform on facebook and Twitter, to further enhance interaction, as well as engage Lagosians and the voting public on the need to queue behind the PDP candidate, Jimi Agbaje by emphasizing his strong points and value which amongst so many others are a strong pedigree, a quintessential professional, an avowed listener and more importantly a good team player.
About JAICG
The Jimi Agbaje Independent Campaign Group (ICG) is a platform founded by passionate Lagosians who are truly committed to the desired leadership change in Lagos State. The founders strongly desire to effectively compliment all efforts to effect this change through the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Candidate, Mr. Jimi Agbaje.
The ICG is totally independent of the PDP, any other political party, political machinery, personalities or structures. Its membership is based on:
i. The common conviction that Jimi Agbaje is the right person to govern Lagos State for now.
ii. Evidence of registration to vote (possession of a Permanent Voter’s Card).
Aims & Goals:
1. To organize a large segment of the Lagos State electorate in favor of Jimi Agbaje, ahead of the 2015 Governorship election and beyond.
2. To encourage and build a massive volunteer- base for the Jimi Agbaje project.
3. To motivate, incentivize and positively engage members of the network through developmental programmes and activities such as mentorships, cooperatives, talk-shops, multi-level meetings, seminars, merchandising etc
Nice initiative.
Hmmm my JCI Senator. I pray you win, Service to Humanity...
ReplyDeleteNo politician should knock on my door (mouth), to tell me nonsense.
DeleteLOL.
I go pour person hot water oh.
I'm warning everyone concerned now!
Good idea but i'm sowie. Some people might get insults and might also got hurt doing this. Some people hate GEJ too much and PDP. A word is enough
DeleteRight man in d wrong party
DeleteAmbode's volunteer group are already doing door to door campaign
ReplyDeleteHmmm. May those who truly have the interest of Lagosians and Nigerians at heart win. All I know is that I am tired of darkness in spite of paying NEPA bills. I don't care who rules, as long as the person has our interests at heart. My business centre is really suffering. Abeg, I am tired.

ReplyDeleteWhen they need something, they draw so close to the masses. Once they get what they want, they become so inaccessible. They should all go and sleep biko.

DeleteHmmmmmm
ReplyDelete~@iamjbankz SA to President Jonathan 2015~
I like this guy.
ReplyDeleteBut, he's in the wrong party.
Actually, I think party is of little relevance in this election o. More like individual merits. I forsee a swap in the results, Agbaje is the best for PDP in lagos and he has enormous follower ship. While centrally Buhari seems to be the most popular right now. I no know how dem go take do am. It would be tough
Deleteokay ooooo! But Ambode is a good man under Tinubu, a bad man(APC) and Jimi a good man under Bode George, a bad man (PDP)! Their godfathers spoilt the whole thing!
ReplyDeletePDP lagos state ,when have the masses vote begin to count in nigeria.I honestly use to think that who ever will win the election has already been decided in their inner chambers. All am saying ,give nigerians steady power supply ,good roads, subways to connect all the major cities in nigeria ,housing ,then keep the rest money in you peoples foreign account we dont care ,just give the basics, are we asking for too much.

ReplyDeletePdp is bad for Lagos. Over 8,000 employees that were sent packing from the NPA has a result of Bode George's looting are still suffering.
ReplyDeleteJimi is a good man, but his party is not just it. Lagosians can't stand pdp...He should have tried under labour party.
ReplyDeleteAll these volunteers and independent campaign groups will later start expecting political appointments if he wins to recoup money they have spent. Nigerian politics is like a listing ship.
Jimi if u like, campaign from yansh to yansh, koo kan aye,dat yur party no dey, meanwhile dnt waste yur money wiv dat yur 1-eyed sunday deputy u chose.yetinde.
ReplyDeleteJimi is good but reeks of desperation. Ambode is just good period. So it is Ambode all the way
ReplyDelete@Bootylycious my dear we are not asking for too much o just the basics
ReplyDeleteAmerican style
ReplyDeleteWhatever
ReplyDeleteI love ambode!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI ll vote for him!!!!
Up APC!!"!
May the good man win
ReplyDeletePolitics.....very dirty game
ReplyDeleteJimi all the way. He is a good man and would definitely win. Enough of Tinubu and his stealing. We do not want an impostor, someone who has a case of perjury (even before becoming governor) such a person would rob us blind, to finish the job his master has not been able to. They keep shouting experience? What experience? Is it experience in stealing and lying? We want a man of good character. A breath of fresh air.
ReplyDeleteJaykay is Okay. Say no to Tinubu and his imposition. Ambode is his puppet. We are tiredddd
ReplyDeleteHi,
