Davido, Don Jazzy react to losing out at 2014 Channel O Awards

Although it has been an amazing year for pop star Davido, he lost out at the Channel O music awards, which held Saturday night in South Africa.
Recall that the pop star began the year on a winning note by winning the BET, NEA and MTV awards; he however lost out in the five different categories he was nominated for at the Channel O music and video awards.

Davido lost the Most gifted Dance Video to South Africa’s Busiswa, the Most Gifted Afro Pop Video went to Tanzania’s Diamond while Olamide clinched the Most Gifted West African Video at his expense.

South Africa’s Casper Nyovest went home with both the Most Gifted Male and Most Gifted Video of the Year awards.
He, however, put up his spirit of sportsmanship and congratulated the winners at the event via instagram.

He wrote “BIG UPS TO EVERYONE THAT VOTED …U LOSE SOME U WIN SOME!! GOD BLESS EVERYONE THAT WON TONITE. Keep In Mind That Someone Else Is Happy With A Lot Less Than What You Have.”

Also supporting him, Don Jazzy tweeted “My most gifted video award is Aye by Davido sha. #MyOpinion. He definitely owned 2014. #Okbye’…”.

    2. Amen to your prayer that God'll expose those behind 'BH'
Having said that,Buhari's referring to his wealth of experience at the warfront and as Army General to be able to boost the morale of our soldiers while adequately equipping them to win the war.
We're at a point in our nationhood where we really've to ignore ethnic sentiments and do that which is right in our hearts.
The road ahead is no doubt going to be bumpy road to navigate but we will make.
Let Thy Will be done Dear Lord!

  20. Davido really tried this year. At least most of his songs and collabos are club bangers which is what is trending. Yeah, you win some, you lose some. Biko nu, Buhari, did you forget something in that seat of power you once sat on that you are making promises now? Have you forgotten that you once said this nation will be made ungovernable? Suddenly, you have changed mouth now, you can find the cure to this insurgency???? Which one do we believe now? In my opinion, this is merely the wordsof a desperate man who want to be in power by all means.

Who can we trust d fair ruling of Nigeria wt, i rilly do not see anyone for nw. Who do we vote for ? PDP,APC. I cnt trust either.

The answer to our questions about BH lies in this statement!

So if Nigerians don't consider him and vote for him, what will happen?
Is this a threat or a "promise"?
    Hmmmmmm!

    God is watching!

  26. I can imagine how terrified the children in these insurgent ridden states are, they don't deserve to be lying down flat in fear or hiding in bunkers. They should be in school or on the play ground or doing what kid do. Am so pained right now.
Please our 'dear' leaders, state of emergency or not send in the military (well equipped) I don't care if its going to be a war situation so long as the rules of engagement are followed, stamp out the terrorist, save the women, children and all other innocent people.
I just wonder how these uncircumcised guerrillas are more equipped and much more tactical than trained soldiers.

  28. GEJ is a disgrace to niger delta. D only reason why he was made d vp of Yaradua was bcos they wanted a docile and a figure head vp. That is why we have ended up with a CLUELESS president. Mumu wey go wear uniform bcos dem call am commander in chief of the armed forces. Disgraceful. SMH

  30. Oh dear! This is so sad... I can only imagine what those yobe residents are going through. Experienced it when I served in maiduguri in 2009...these BH boys surrounded d town and we woke up to their shootings...it was a terrible experience, oh God! Save us from the hands of these insurgents and make Nigeria a once more peaceful country.
As for all those political manipulations,i don't really care anymore...cos as it stands I don't know who even has our interest at heart.
