    1. I am a born again christian ...yoruba....
i will support whoever God decides can serve Nigeria and can stop the menace called boko haram. Buhari is the one and he will do it military style. Also curruption will be a thing of the past so all those jonathan is giving oil rigs better get as much as possible now because if buhari enter the wealth will go back to the nigerians in terms of healthcare security food clothing shelter...you wont be able to fly runs girls to dubai and spend tax payers money on them again oh... God Almighthy will save nigeria amen. Abi how do you explain missing teenage girls in a country and your government goes on like the girls are nobodys. Be wise people. I will even feel comfortable moving to naija from the west if buhari gets in.

    2. I didn't plan to read this man's epistle till I started seeing pple's comment. Youth of dis country why are we so gullible? GMB is boko according to dis man and frustrating GEJ's govt agreed. But what of other sectors? Youth unemployment all over Nigeria? Epileptic power supply, human right violation and saying that corruption is mere stealing. Mr. FFK and other christians here including myself, can any form of stealing be classified as mere in d bible? Mr. FFk, am calling on u again pls write on instances where GMB has been accused of MERE stealing. Nobody, I repeat, nobody can islamise Nigeria under either millitary or civillian dispensation. I rest my case, a word is enof for d wise.* Ronks

    4. This post just made my day Stella...let me continue from where he stopped. Where was buhari when his almajiri's went on rampage killing innocent coppers after he lost election? Where was buhari when churches were targets of these animals? Christians were killed in droves, where were all the APC members? How many of the came out to condemn out-rightly? Only last year Buhari and his brother El-rufai accused Jonathan of attacking bokoharam and said it's an attack against the north? These same APC members fought against the extension of State of emergency in the north. Boko Haram soley chose Buhari as the only negotiator they would trust. When I hear Christians in the south saying they would look beyond religious and ethnic divide and vote buhari, it beats me. Even if Jesus christ is the president of Nigeria these Hausa fulani people will never vote for him, they think it's their turn to rule Nigeria and nothing will change that. What Jonathan has done for the northerners and Almajiri's none of the previous government has ever done that. He is not marginalizing any region. Buhari's interview on channels the other day proved me right. His only plan for Nigeria is to fight corruption, nothing about creating jobs, improving power, diversifying the economy. Its still boils down to the oil in the Niger delta. A leader who mentioned on live TV, that he would stabilize the oil market? Is he a magician, he don't understand simple economics that the oil prices are determined by demand and and supply. That it's not only Nigeria suffering from the decline of oil prices, Iran, Argentina and even Russia are also struggling. GEJ is moving at a slow pace agreed but Buhari will take us backward and the Northerners will take over every industry and ministry like they did in the past and ruin it. Nigerians be wise don't let the opposition owned media fool you and cloud your judgment. GEJ till 2019......PH GAL

If trully Buhari is the man behind BH it doesn't take GEJ anything to prosecute him rather than accusing him everytime without showing us the truth. Alll na propaganda.

    6. I am laughing at some of you supporting Buhari because if he ever becomes president, you all would see his true bigotic nature. I expect you to come back on blog and comment freely if you vote him president of Nigeria. You all should open your eyes, Buhari isn't the president Nigeria needs. How on earth did we get here?? How can a party like apc that talks about change, choose Buhari of the medieval era to run Nigeria of 21st century when people like pat utomi, fashola, oshiomole, rochas, amaechi are out there??? Can Buhari operate a computer or a smart phone??? Buhari of 70's wants to become Nigeria's president in 2015?? So we don't have smart, intelligent young men anymore?? What is wrong with Nigerians?? Smh

    8. And this was the same Buhari the boko haram terrorists named as their negotiator init?? The same man that said in 2011 that if he lost election, monkey and baboon would be soaked in blood and they ended up killing southern corpers! The same man that told Muslims to vote for who would protect their religion and give them sharia init?? I am beginning to think that some Christians are really the ones causing problem for their fellow christians. How can a christian open his mouth and say he would vote for a religious bigot like Buhari?? Why can't apc present fashola whom we all know is a moderate Muslim. For those of you that are shouting religion doesn't matter while voting for Buhari, I pity you all. Did you not all watch his interview in channels TV?? Did Buhari say any useful thing throughout that interview?? Christians open your eyes to avoid crying had I known later. " I don talk my own oo"

    9. 2015 instead of this administration to reduce govt spending on legislature as a result of the present oil situation bet it with me they would rather hike fuel price.
The masses pay the price for all govt irresponsibility and corruption won't stop. How can you regulate a corrupt economy?
2015 would be a very tough year for this country cos all our income is from oil...I remember all the promises that where made the last time they raised fuel pump price.
Our govt think we are stupid, am beginning to suspect we actually are.

      Delete
    4. This is getting more and more interesting. If we had to ignore political party affiliation and base our judgements on individual credibility in office. There's no doubt that Buhari stands a greater chance if put side by side with Jonathan for the next election.

But why Buhari again? What's with the recycle like bin bags?

Forget Fani Kayode and his roller coaster declarations of character because he himself doesn't know where he stands. And for me his approval of anyone doesn't mean shit. Just another balderdash motivated by TODAY and what he can get. That settles Fani.

Buhari and tackling corruption, restoring sanity in the government and it's treasury, issues of religion and insurgency etc... quite frankly, we expend a lot of effort in extolling the virtues of democratic governance without letting everyone understand that it is the responsibility of the average citizen to ensure that it actually works in the way it is intended to.

I couldn't boldly say that Buhari would sort All these issues out, honestly we've had our hopes dashed in the past by making biased presumptions of politicians. Especially not after decades of arbitrary rule...that of those who claim the monopoly of know-how on nation building.... which have now set us back many years and hence we suffer it today. but if he (Buhari) didn't steal when he was head of state, then the chances of not stealing again is ominous.

I don't know if Buhari is an Islamic extremist and I cannot make stereotypical analysis of him based on his religious beliefs or the practice of it. But what has that got to do with the unemployment rate and the country's financial emptiness? If he won't impose islam on us? This is the only concern of mine and that of many others.

My conclusion is that the unemployment rate may not possibly kill Nigeria. The corruption may not kill Nigeria. What will kill Nigeria is the religious segregation which we have now imbibed as a prerequisite with which to qualify our leaders.
Don't get me wrong, I'll freak out if we are taken over by a religious bigot, but that is why we have a constitution that gives room for an impeachment exercise should any leader exhibit a lackluster in his performances.

Everyone is denying to be BH sponsors, and truly we may never know who is behind them. To be fair on Buhari, how could he sponsor them when he couldn't afford to pick a 27m presidential ticket? Was he pretending?

Any cry would do for a burial. Everyone is extremely inundated about Jonathan's style of governance for obvious reasons. Consequently, Anyone put to contest against him right now would seem a respite from the wahala on ground.
BUT I hope we do not make the same mistake again by voting with our sentiments. Buhari o, Jonathan o, Atiku o, everyone of them should sha leave Nigeria alone and allow others with good intentions the chance.
      Wo I don tire sef.

Under the watch of a christian President people are being murdered in cold blood everyday! What have you said about the obvious fact that we have a weak leader who cant make decisions. A leader who thinks stealing is not corruption? What have you said about this President that is obviously afraid of the status quo and thus, cannot confront it head-on! You are just a professional politician supporting any government in power! What Nigeria needs is a Leader and not a politician. A resolute leader that would not succumb to the dictates of the evil, the corrupt and the enemies of Nigeria that are hell bent on pulling our nation down. Nigeria needs a change and Buhari represents that change! That change is now! The likes of Mr. Fani-Kayode should prepare to run into exile for all I care. I was one person that actually believed they are bringing change, but it's obvious they are only after. In any sane country, he would have been made to step down cos he is not fit to rule. The lives of the citizens are not important to him. 75. Madam Bianca Bruno...... Plz dnt say nobody wants GEJ. Speak for yourself alone and dnt force your opinions down on others. True FFK speaks from both sides of his mouth but we should be mature enough to sift the sense from the nonsense in all he says. I am an unemployed graduate trying to find a way(and its annoying that I can't get a job after studying difficult BIOCHEMISTRY for four long years) but truth be said Jonathan has done a whole lot better than all the ex-presidents put together. Whether we like to admit it or not, he has tried to make good transformative marks in EVERY, yes EVERY sector of the nations economy. The nation's woes didn't begin with GEJ and it would take slow and never fast paced years to fix but when you see someone trying to do his, give him a chance to continue. Now GMB like GEJ had a chance to fix d country with his almost 10years in government(as PTF boss, minister of petroleum resources and head of state) but didn't; it isn't wise he allows some others try a different approach which in my opinion is working.
You can cuss me out but history is there to help guide our steps in shaping our future. Anyone that threatens our democracy just because he loses an election isn't fit to lead us. If you watched the Channels interview with GMB, you realise that he has N̶̲̅☹ clue and plans as to HOW to fix the problems.....for a presidential aspirant to say he would stabilise the world oil market(which is driven purely by the tenets of demand and supply) is enough evidence of cluelessness. I have N̶̲̅☹ intention to force anyone to follow my opinions by telling them shut up and being all brash with words but I repeat..... History should guide us and not be tossed aside.

The status quo has nothing to offer except of course to appeal to the sentiment of the generality of gullible Nigerians! The likes of Mr. Fani-Kayode should not come and start playing the religious card here.. Its all politics! It is widely known that Buhari`s first daughter is married to an Igbo man from the South East. Also his cook and his driver for many years are christians! What does that tell you? This man embodies integrity and discipline. The enemies of Nigeria are so afraid of the change that is about to come. Poor students of history! God has presented us with an opportunity to sweep these vagabonds away from power.. we are here playing the sentimental card once again. Our society has been destroyed by materialism, ignorance, social illiteracy, shallowness and abject poverty. The quality of leadership a nation possesses is a reflection of the attitudes of its people. We really deserve the "shoeless one" as president. Until we all as a people rise up and say "enough is enough".. nothing will change in this country

  93. Buhari`s Pledge: Time to Rebuild Nigeria

    Fellow Nigerians please read!

    a. We will govern Nigeria honestly, in accordance with the constitution.
    b. We will strive to secure the country and efficiently manage the economy.
    c. We will strive to attack poverty through broadly-shared economic growth and attacking corruption through impartial application of the law.
    d. We will tolerate no religious, regional, ethnic or gender bias in our government.
    e. We will return Nigeria to a position of international respect through patriotic foreign policy.
    f. We will choose the best Nigerians for the right jobs. Our government will be committed to the cause of the common man. Whether you are a Christian from Bayelsa State or a Muslim from Katsina State, you are first and foremost a Nigerian in my eyes. I shall treat you equally as my people, my national family, my brothers and sisters. There can be no genuine love of our country without loving all its people in our diversity.
Just as APC stands as a new party for a new Nigeria, our government will institute new policies to realise the new Nigeria.
We shall institute just policies that afford people the dignity of work and pay them a living wage for their sweat and toil. We intend to do this by instituting a national industrial policy, coupled with a national employment directive, that together shall revive and expand our manufacturing sector, creating jobs for our urban population and decreasing our reliance on expensive foreign imports.
We shall implement a national infrastructure master plan that will provide construction and related jobs across the land. Furthermore, by improving our transportation infrastructure through road, rail and port construction we expand the outer bounds of economic growth as no economy can grow beyond the capacity of its infrastructure.
    26. Agriculture remains the backbone of the economy. Our government, when elected, will establish an agricultural policy that provides farmers a dignified living through improved inputs, improved extension services, access to credit and price support mechanisms.
On corruption, the government will enhance EFCC’s powers to investigate independently. Moreover, we intend to plug the holes in NNPC accounting. There will no longer be two sets of books, one for public consumption and another for insiders who profit from this slick fraud. In an APC government, the public will know how much NNPC makes and where all the money goes.
No longer shall illegal flows of massive sums leave these shores to finance other economies. While our people languish in poverty, we effectively give financial aid to nations that is not justified. I am sick of this. It must stop. The money saved will finance jobs, health care and the provision of social safety net for the needy, weak and vulnerable of our land.
We will be a compassionate government, for out of compassion arises the truest forms of wealth and progress a society can attain. We shall open the door to tertiary education to excellent students who otherwise could not afford it. Pregnant and poor women and children shall be entitled to basic health care.
This is a Nigeria that I envisage but it is a far cry from the Nigeria that is now. Change is imperative if we are to avoid the impending national failure. Poor leadership placed us in the ditch. Continuation of poor leadership will only dig a deeper trench for all of us to fall in.
Let us join hands in progressive union to pull each other and the nation from the abyss.
I pledge to do my utmost to make this happen but cannot do it alone. I need your support. I need your help to become President of Nigeria so that government may come to serve you, so that it may bring relief to the broken and weary among us and so that it may usher in a new Nigeria meant for us all, a Nigeria that is the birthright of everyone but the exclusive possession of no one.
    God bless you.
God bless our fatherland – Nigeria
    Thank you.
