Today I celebrate Toke Makinwa for starting from nowhere and becoming a household name,albeit sometimes Negatively....I relate with her because i started from nowhere,from the backside and when i look back i see a long stretch of road indicating i have come far and like Toke,no one can take me back - either with words or deed!




Toke you are like a shooting star,you have come so far and you cannot go back to where you used to be....WORD!

      Yes I agree. I remember when I was new here, and toke's name gained sudden prominence, albeit negatively like Stella said. It would come up all the time and I wondered who she was. Not satisfied with the explanations here I asked my sister. And my sis sat me down ( like we ask people to seat their stubborn hubby's down here) and she explained she was an OAP etc...and nothing more. I was like ok.....so what's with the drama? Anyway ever since I have paid particular attention to her and even watched at least 2 of her vlog episodes, and I see a perseverance female who against all odds has chosen not to sink to oblivion because of bad press and all the negativity against her.

      Toke if you survived the bad press in Nigeria, you'll survive anything in this world. Keep it up girl. Your spirit is what I like not whatever you do.
