Yemi Alade Apologises To Fans For Failing To Show Up At Berlin Concert Last Night

Yemi Alade has tendered her apologies to fans for failing to perform at a concert in Tropical Bar, Berlin, Germany last night, March 14th.

In a video she just released to personally address the issue, she attributes it to an error on the part of the organisers who told her she was to show up
at2.00am but had kept fans waiting since 10 pm.

By the time she got to the venue at 2.30am, half of the people present had left and the other half were really furious. Things got violent and her team advised her not to step out. Moreover, the organisers took the microphone away, according to her.

She emphasises she was present at the event, though late, and didn't intend to call her fans' bluff by keeping them waiting and failing to turn up in the end.

She concluded by further apologising for things going awry last night and has asked her fans to go collect back the money they paid for tickets claiming that she has refunded it. She promises to return there some other time.

    1. Its only logical she got there late. How many songs has she got that she can perform via usual lip sync and cant play any instrument to entertain fans. I have vowed not to attend any so called naija show because it is just a miming affair.

  8. I stopped attending Nigerian concerts in Canada because of this rubbish. The show starts at 10pm and the artist won't come on stage until 2am. And they usually lipsynce for only 15-30 mins and that will be the end of it. Complete waste of time and money. I wonder which genius came up with this format. Both the artists and organizers are not serious. They've already told the artist to show up hella late, and she comes late ontop of being late?

  11. I wonder why artists always think showing up late adds any ambiance to their performance.

  14. What happened to being a professional? So the organizers said the show was at 2am ( smh!!) Why show up half an hour later?? Only Africans tolerate that foolishness because we don't respect time either. We haven't grasped the concept that time is money. The earlier we get it, the better our lives will become.

  23. I don't get. They told her to show up at 2 and she got to the venue at 2:30?

If you have an interview at 2, would you get there at 2:30 or 1:30?

This is BS Nigerian mentality. Get early for your show, prepare, be punctual, respect the ppl paying you to perform for that. You are not doing a favor, you are being paid for a job.
