At the #RealWishesGranted event DJ Jimmy Jatt, Gideon Okeke, Nikki Laoye, Toke Makinwa and Kaffy engaged the Children of Little Saints Orphanage Home in a lot of activity ranging from inspiring conversation to answering their many questions and dancing with them.
Real Wishes Granted is an event organised by pink pearl foundation in collaboration with oaken event for the beautiful kids in the orphanage.
My toke look beautiful, thank God she is trying to Move on.

ReplyDeleteAs the PRO of my NYSC group,i went to get permission from the Motherless babies mgt and for them to give us a date for visitation.
As i got there,they took me round their kiddies room,i just got to one of the rooms n started crying. The kids were looking at me. I carried one and when i wanted to go,the lil girl was crying. I started crying again. I cried and cried and cried and cried.
Not too long afterwards,i fell ill.
I was diagnosed with,
Belle.
That explained the easy tears.

ReplyDelete@Imoh Sandra: talking of visiting other Orphanage I actually once visited an orphanage at Isolo called SOS Village one of the Saturdays the Mgt. told us we canot see the children on that day that their visitation day is 2nd saturday of every month. On 2nd saturday of the following month I went to SOS Village again I met other pple too who also came for the same purpose. The official came and warned everyone that there is no taking of photograph after like eternity they finally took us to where the children are suppose to be. The Officials said we can ask any question from them, she introduce a middle aged woman which she called mother of the house we were like where are the children, after 20 mins. The official now replied “you know the children when they see new faces they run into hiding” they called like 3 children for us. We were expecting see lots of children play or snap pictures with but the official refuse. We were all disappointed, I have decided not to visit that orphanage again but decided to try this little saint orphanage. Maybe this orphanage is where they have access to children and express their love unlike the SOS Village.
