This event is the celebration of partnership of two great brands, SLOT and D’banj. 3. I still don't get the whole idea behind tagging some1 a brand ambassador.
Would fans of Dbanj start patronising slot or what?
Or would it make me rush 2d nearest slot shop?
People sha don't know what they want.

  6. Dbanj should just give up, he is no longer relevant in the music industry. Hasn't had a hit since Oliver Twist and age is slowly creeping, dbanj abeg gather money and go and open a business. I like the fact you are more known now for brand ambassador and other campaigns than actual music. These 20smthn yr old boys are killing it now.. Once they start giving u legend award, know say u don dey become old papa gradually.

  9. Do Nigerians really buy stuff just because a celebrity's face is on it?

Slot is already a good brand. Having an ambassador will not change my perception of them.

Companies should use the funds allocated for brand ambassadors to pay their hardworking staff better packages instead.

Appreciating a celebrity who has achieved a lot is obviously a good thing though.

Oh well, I guess associating that person with your product is where brand ambassadorship comes in. That way they dont sue if their images surface on the companies' adverts.

But I still ask, does it sell products in Nigeria?
