Notice how he didn't ask for my name or account number but claims he can see my account on their database...well please inform your readers about this..... ''

    3. I also got this. Dear Customer,Due to the BVN validation in compliance with CBN bank directives, your ATM card has been De_activated call our help line on 08142264211 now. And this:
Dear customer, Due to our system upgrade your ATM CARD has just been de- activated, to re- activate, kindly call Customer care, Mr John Edward on, 07031217943.

      Then I replied with this:
Almighty God will punish you. As you want to dupe people of their sweat, you will die a miserable death. I pity your children because the curses that follow you will over take you and your children and grandchildren. You will not see 2016. This remaining 34 days to the end of this year, you will beg for death but it will not come until 31st night. Since you have decided to make people cry, from the moment you receive this text, your life will be worse than mad paralyzed leper. But if you do not repent and return all you have stolen, that curse will follow you until your 3 generations. Amen
The idiot has been calling until I blocked him.

  8. This isn't new na. BVN issues are usually addressed through the actual bank not CBN, those ones no get individual customer time.
Even through the actual bank, these issues are handled in person, not over the phone.
Good thing it's on the blog though, some people actually may not know.

  32. My colleague received same sms from this no 08109847785 saying same thing and directed her to call Mr Ben on 08143132738.
Mr Ben was called and asked the same question the poster was asked. He now asked for the atm no, my colleague gave him 153, he now said mastercard starts with 5 while verve starts with 4. He ended the call. we called back and lashed him, calling him thief. He ended the call again. We started calling the SDK way, he was rejecting the call. At a point he now picked and said "babe". My colleague abused him again and ended the call. You needed to hear him saying that due to a 2016 budget that they are upgrading all their atm cards.

Me: I received a text asking me to gey intouch with you at CBN in relations to my inability to make use of ATM.
Scammer: OK. what bank or banks do you bank with?
Me: Zenith, Stanbic, GTB and UBA
Scammer: when was th last time you made a withdrawal and how much is left...
Me: I withdrew 10k 2wks ago so I believe I have less than 5k in that account.
Scammer: what is your balance in your GTBANK account.
Me:(trying hard to suppress my giggles) Baba make we nor just play this game...
    scammer: *drops call*
I called him back but this time the uchu wasn't saying anything so I told him that I wasnt broke and I had enough airtime to keep him on the line for the next 3hours to keep hom from speaking to others. At this point, he put me on hold for like a few mins before he eventually ended the call.
