    2. If you studied Further Maths (Bearing) you'd find out that there is no way the brick will fall on the baby. It will only fall at an angle, although close to the child.

    1. Mrs korks advice for Friday's chronicles.
"What has your mum got to do with this?Abeg forget her jor!"
Mrs korks, I am shocked beyond words that u can spw dis statement. Your comment is End time advice raised to power infinity.
If u like don't post dis comment.
Ur comment is not fair to motherhood. Nid  I say  more?
Our mothers hav every rite to share and experience the joy of their children marrying the rite person.
So, a mother still hv a say wen it comes to marriage. Though der decisions are not totally binding.
The lady in question  knows that herself, tht ws why she did not collect the ring in d first place. She knows the interpretation of motherhood.
      Ur advice is good.
But your comment about her motherhood  is fucking & totally wrong. Wrong! wrong!! Wrong!!! I hate to say dis but the truth must b said.
In this part of d world to say I am sorry is not part of our culture.
      Defending motherhood is my hobby!

This post came as a response to my comment that u refused to post for friday's chronicle.

      If u lik attack me.

    1. Hmmmm.. the only thing I ask God daily is to pls preserve my mother for so long, that she may enjoy the fruit of her hard labour and selfless service to her children.

I tell u, I have seen selfish mothers, ruthless and uncaring mothers. Yes, I grew up to see some of my peers who have mothers that didn't really care. There were never there when it mattered most in their kids lives. In fact I had a friend who became like a sister.. who always told me that she wished my mom was hers.. she hated her mom because she was selfish and never cared. Even till today, that my friend is married with kids, all her mother cares about is money money money.
Oh, there are mothers and there are mothers. If u have a loving mother pls appreciate her every single day. If you've seen the other side of some mothers you'd understand my epistle.

I love my mother like my life depends on it. Simply because she first loved me! God bless u mom!!! **wipes tears**

  25. Thank God for my Mother. She was a lioness. The force that pushed my Father to try his best for us. I don't know how my (and my siblings) lives would have turned out if she had died early. But one thing I'm sure was that we wouldn't have all gone to Uni. My father would had given up and told us to go and marry. She's dead now but I miss her everyday. Continue to rest in peace my loving Mother. I pray that God will continue to keep us all for our child. No child deserves to lose his mother at an early age.

And the next thing he says is kikiss(how he pronounce kisses)

This brings so much joy to my heart.. And makes me know I'm doing a good job.. He can't go to bed without me lying on the bed with him and holding him while he hugs me with one hand and put the other on my face..

To the strong African mothers, most of whom are single mothers (3/4 of the married women esp in Nigeria are just married by name but raising those children all by themselves, in some cases some unmarried single mothers are better off because their kid(s) other parent is involved financially). God reward you women because a lot of you are doing the work that these mothers did not do, so you are raising little children and a man child as well. God bless you all. May God help you and give you grace.

    1. When you become a mom, trust me you will understand why she did a that

I remember after birthing my son the first thing I did was to call my mom and apologize to her for all the times I was stubborn.. I was crying and apologizing and she was laughing and saying it's nothing..

Now my son is 2+, and when I'm on the phone with my mom,she hears me saying I'm going to spank you, okay go into your room, sit down here, don't stand up, don't touch that

And she will be laughing and saying I haven't gone any where and I'm saying I'll spank you and I'll ask her how did she do it...

But in all of that, nothing beats been a mother..

  51. Hmnnn, my dear stella. You don't know how much this post meant to me. One Lady made me cry so much today in church because of my baby's pampers.
I got into this winners chapel just close to my house cos I just moved in here and today I said I was jusy gonna see how the church is so I culd convince my (Oyibo) husband to join me in pentecostal church.
I immediately noticed that my baby just poohed, so I asked a worker to show me where to change her and she did. 40mins later I carried my baby outside and this lady just stormed to me and started saying all sorts of things concerning the pampers I disposed inside a bin. She said the bin was for adult tissue and I shuld go and pick the pampers which I refused. Next thing she started abusing me...Stupid woman etc.
I just asked her, are you abusing me because of my baby's pampers that I properly disposed. I took my child inside the church and picked my bag en headed bk home. Some church members outside that saw what happened rushed after me en were apologising. I just let it go but I just culdnt help crying.
When I got home,i just dodged my husband cos I can't even tell him about it (he always say that Native doctors and most pentecostal churches are the same).
Few mins ago,the lady came to my house. She said she has been restless since she got home from church, she had to find where I live.
She apologised. I am just still shocked. I have forgiven her even before she came but finally, I don't know if I will go bk to the church again.

Thank God she realised her mistakes and came apologising.
Some people just act before they think.
      Just let it go.
Don't let one member dissuade you from the church.

    5. I am sorry she made u cry.eeya.but hope u are better now.

What she Did was wrong but then, later, she Did what Christ tells us to do.she found ur house and came and apologized.
      She showed remorse.
If u ask me,that's what Christianity and Agape love is.it doesn't mean we won't hurt one another.or we won't fight. But realising our mistakes and saying sorry is what Jesus Christ enjoins us to do.

      How's ur baby?

  75. I don't see anything sweet about this post!!

Point of contact?? Pls tell me you're joking biko..

All I saw in those pictures are women who are suffering because of the bad choices they made in life.

Pic 1, an underaged girl who was sent to school to become Someone but chose to play with blokos, she got pregnant and her folks threw her out of the house so she engages in manual labour to feed herself and her child... She's carrying the child because there's no where to drop him/her and She's also using the child as an excuse to not to be overworked.

Pic 2, another wretched of a woman who prolly married a drunk after been warned countlessly that the man wasn't good for her..... Now, just look at that? Good luck to those taping that o..

Pic3, a babymamĂ  who retraced her steps(an inspiration for runz girls if I may say)

Pic 4, prolly an orphan whose Aunty's husband impregnated...

Pic 5, hell to the NO!!! That mama should be arrested and sent to the gallows.... That is so inhumane!!

All ye tappers and Stella who got so inspired that she had to make this into a post for TTC people, I carry yansh give una.

  77. Amen to that prayer Stells. Every woman deserves to experience motherhood. The feeling is out of this world. Kudos to all moms in the house. We rock!

  78. Yes Stella mothers rock. Don't you ever tell BVs asking for advice on who to marry and how their mothers will feel about their wives to be to ignore their mothers. I read yesterday's chronicle about a guy that want's to marry a single mother, you told him to forget about what his mother will say. A mother's opinion is important , Remember you are a mother and one day your children will get married. ( please don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with marrying a single mother ) Just that in reality many of us mothers on this blog will frown at it.

In the days of the old the strenght of your farm land must be seen in the crop you harvested before wife will be given to you in my village .you wont harvest two tubers of yam and expect to marry the daughter of a man that have barn full of yam and cocoyam

  81. Food for thought...
A sick person in a hospital bed was visited by relatives. The patient was on an oxygen MACHINE and therefore couldn't speak. As they stood beside the bed, the patient took a pen and piece of paper and wrote a note which he gave to one of the relatives who put it in the shirt pocket and continued their conversation. After a few minutes, the patient died. The relative picked the note from the pocket to know what he had written. And guess what! Sadly the note read........ "Please move, you have stepped on the oxygen pipe, i can't breathe, you are killing me".
    LESSON:
Do you postpone or assume reading posts, ? Or do you ignore picking calls because you are already close to the caller. They might be helpful to you or to somebody... particularly at a most critical time.
    Forwarded as received.
    Have a blessed Sunday!

  93. Amen. The strength of motherhood is what we are watching now. I witnessed a high school student who gave birth on Monday and was in school on Tuesday after to take her Regents examination(like Waec or sss3 finals in Nigeria). She gave birth peacefully and God gave her the strength to take her examination. On graduation day, her mom and baby father brought the little baby. It was so cute.

She'd rather starve than watch me lack anything. My reason for striving to be successful in life, my human source of refuge.
