A Bread Seller's Make Over Story Hits Thisday Front Page

She was walking past and got caught in the photo lens of Ty Bello,The photography whose lens can change your destiny.....She was just a bread seller but now she is on the cover of Thisday, one of Nigeria's most popular daily...

This is the story of Olajumoke Orisaguna-The Agege bread seller....

This story is inspiring but it all happened so fast...looks too easy.

The devil is just trying to put thoughts into my mind this might have been all planned out to promote this young beautiful girl, which is good...but i reject such thoughts and celebrate with them...Please nobody should think me a hater, these are just innocent thoughts....

    1. Nigerians and low mentality.. who was talking about her ability to speak English? Now, I saw a very beautiful girl bread seller with model-like features walking by me one early morning. I called her and told her she could do well as a model and she expressed fears that she has no degree, she can't speak English, and she knows nothing about modelling. "She said people might not like me".
So,i came up with the plan, we will pretend that my camera caught you by mistake and then I will tell them your story and ask them to help find you. Once I have made you a topic on social media,,,everyone will accept you and want to be part of your success story. Someone has moved from selling on the street to become a super model.
And she said ok! Now the whole Nigerians bought the story cos they love #surulere .
This is exactly what Stella is insinuating. Not that the girl is a fake or that she's faking not to know English but this story that TY Bello used to bring her to lime lite is definitely doctored.

    5. Please can we get an independent photographer to explain that first picture that was called an accident? Kelechi Amadi Obi... do you think the camera was focusing of the man??? where was the camera aiming at? That is the only thing that will tell us if this is stage managed or not. You cannot be taking a man in that angle and face your camera in the middle ,,,what are you looking for,,,or are you expecting someone there? Those Okada men at the end of the street, isnt it an indication that they knew a photoshoot is going on? And the girl didn't see TYs camera stand and just appeared in to the picture. If she was behind or very close to the guy then it would have been a perfect photobombing case. My 2 cents. I am happy the lady is getting help. Nowww???what is the probability that the woman doesn't even speak PIGIN English? For lagos? What language does she use to sell her market??? Please they called for this criticism, ,, even my grand mother in the village speaks pigin english.

  10. About time I saw this on here.

I've been following the story, from when she was accidentally papped, to the search for her address.

TY had to track her to her hood give those living around the lady's area her number, to reach her when she was found.

    Stellz, have you forgotten?
A testimony that sounds like lie.

    You usually say that.

    This is one of them.

And she's a very beautiful woman, with the poise of a model, from her accidental photoshoot.

And I'm sure this is just the beginning for her.

    Talk about turn of fortune.

I don't believe,,,especially that first picture. Naaaaaaa! For a photographer to say that that first picture was chance,, then that's a pure lieeeee. Look at that perfect picture,,,the two sides were equal. You can't tell who is an intruder between her main focus and the girl.
Remove the girl from that picture,,,what was TY looking for in that space where the girl "supposedly "walked in?
If her focus wa only on the guy, then that guy I'd supposed to be in the center of the camera. You get this kinda shot when you target two or more people.
      Ask any photographer.

Then her journey to stardom started.

Then she just appeared into the picture??? From no where and no part of her was cut out. Then TY the photographer didn't see her inside the camera before shooting the pic, ,she must be a ghost then.
Then the guy, ,,what was he looking at??? Why capture the two of them fully?? If only one person was the target??? Besides the guy looks like the intruder.

Are you mad? It is very possible that she went to pick her wares in the evening. Some of these hawkers go to the bakeries in the evening to carry freshly baked break and sell overnight. Go to Lagos Island, Mushin and all those areas where people begin to shed their wares 12am midnight.

    1. Yes,she might not have speak English and all but I don't believe that this story is as they are portraying it. It has nothing to do with her ability to speak English but Ty just wanted the girl to trend and looked for a storry we will buy. If she just came and introduced her just like that, no one will really accept her so she stage managed the whole thing. That is mu opinion. I appreciate TY Bello for good job and lifting this lady but I think she didn't meet her for the first time in the photo shoot. C'mon people don't just walk into the camera space, she just didn't appear from no where. She would have sighted her from afar and not when she was already inside the photo.

Ty Bello just wrote this script and it is acting out well. She wanted to help the girl, probably she has seen a potential In her and she thought of how to sell this story to the Nigerian audience that believes in "grasstograce" #surulere things. So she decided to use the girls occupation as a bread seller to lure her into our hearts.

She did good but I don't believe the story. As she told it. I am happy for the lady.

Truth is, evil has happened so much, hardship has taken over, people have struggled too much to attain goals that when it happens for others, people are skeptical.

It's not 'hating', you're only human, Stellz.

While this may be a monumental deceit/ heist of all times by TY Bello but I know that the path of all people aren't same. Some people have it tough to the top, some others get it easily. Read about how Charlize Theron became a movie star. What about the beautiful Iman? Some people had slept and slept and paid and paid to be where they found themselves and it didn't work.

My only wish is that the lady is tutored, mentored to enlarge her coast and elongate her stay at the top. Cos the bread seller myth will soon die down. If she has something more to offer, time will tell.

Time will also tell if it's all false cos news spreads and people know people.

For now, all we can do is wish her well.

I read her profile on BN; that she does not really speak English & is a single mom working her head & neck daily hawking bread. So whether it was staged or not, it is a beautiful story. Na so her day come break, sun come begin shine. God has remembered her & her daughter.

This lady has been making news since TY spotted her & asked people to help find her, why will you make such statements just after praising Julius Agwu & condemning the bad mouths in the industry, what's the difference from what you just did?? Don't start an argument when it's not necessary, everyone sees the beauty in this & it gives hope to know that it just takes a person to connect you to your place of greatness. You should have kept the thoughts to yourself cos right now, you've allowed the devil to use you to bring people down, people who kinda believed in this miracle would have some doubts after reading this post. Clap for yourself Stella, you have been used by the devil on a Sunday to make people doubt Miracles happens. Have a great week ahead

  76. It wasnt planned at all, Ty Bello said that on her page and dont see her as a liar, why go through so much trouble to make her famous? She's a top photograher in Nigeria, if she feels Jumoke is good enough for modelling she could have easily promoted her brand and worked on her portfolio , her endorsement alone would have done the trick, she has highly connected friends in her line of work that could have helped. That your line of thought is wrong.

  92. Stella please don't say that. Is it cos this is Naija. You live in Europe and you know things like this happen a lot. Not breadseller o but people helping their fellow humans. The girl can't even speak English. Ty Bello searched for this girl, she asked every body around the area. It is understandable that u have ur doubts afterall this is Nigeria where everybody looks out for only themselves. Every body is just praying for helpers to locate them on twitter. Instead of them to look for who they will locate and help in their own little way.

Why have some people decided to crucify Stella? She is a human being like everyone. She is not perfect and I believe she made her thoughts known cos she believes you people are her family. It's true everything happened so fast!Stella has a kind heart if you'll ask me.She has helped a lot of people through her blog.I believe anyone that helps others has a heart of gold.If Stella was in TY Bello's shoes, she would have done exactly what she did or even more. All of u wey dey talk say u don loose respect for Stella, how many people una don help in your life?Abeg, free her!!!And if you don loose ur respect for her,dem tie ur umbilical cord to her blog??

What we read shape us, most time, our subconscious.
Your thots are your thots, saying them only affects other people's thots too..
Be careful about how you use ur medium becos u seem not to know how powerful its become.

God turn my life around into a miracle in the twinkling of an eye.

  98. As a result of the buzz she got from this shoot, she’s close to starting internship @makemesalon,additional internship @sarisignature, that popular Lebanese owned salon on island, she’s been offered a modelling contact from @fewmodels, to top it all she’s had payporte reached out to her to be the model on their next billboard campaign. ……TYbello’s mentor has offered to pay for her accommodation and children school fees

  99. It could be that the picture is from a photo shoot ‎depicting her life before she got discovered. The scenery and setting is perfect and what she's wearing looks like what was selected for the shoot. That doesn't necessarily make it doctored, it appears both pictures were taken after she was discovered. The picture caught by TY's lens, probably wasn't displayed. There's nothing wrong in recreating a scene from her everyday life, no?

It could be all arranged as well as genuine but I  choose to give her the benefit of the doubt because either way, a young mother's life has been changed for the better.

I guess there is  too much ingenuity ‎out there hence the copious availability in doubting what seems like good intentions. I remember numerous occasions where some readers had called out your generosity as being fake or done with ulterior motives. Some even doubt the authenticity of airtime giveaways posted by certain blog visitors. I guess it's human nature to doubt because nobody wants to feel outwitted or outsmarted.

Her baby is a sight to behold! Simply adorable! She almost outshone the prominent facial structures of her mum. ‎

  103. I have had a lot of pictures my friends photo bombed and they come out looking better than me who actually took the picture...

Do you know that when you are captioned in motion, you would have a semblance of a model who is catwalking?? If you think it's a lie try asking someone to take you random pictures while you are walking and not care about the camera..

Then again, that picture I'm sure happened because they wanted it to look real. So they didn't stop any movement or asked people to clear. Because if they asked people to clear, those bike men wouldn't have appeared in the back ground either

Now some people are talking about her clothes.. Please have you visited yaba, asuwani and Lagos Island?? You would see very fine cheap second hand clothes.. There wasn't anything wow about her cloth by the way

And those saying her bread was too much and it easy night.. Please haven't you heard or seen the fact that this ladies go for a refill in the night?? Or you expect them to sell What they had since morning to you at night?? Please best time to buy agege bread is in the morning or night for the fresh purpose..

And this picture could have been during the day and the back ground changed..

Oh God please give me a testimony that will make people bring about different theories of what might have happened instead of believing the real story. Because it was too good to be true..

I love my ground breaking God
    My protocol breaking God

  105. So i get the pOints most of you doubting raised and i have answers for them.
Why did Ty take Tinie Tempah from that angle? Well the photo shoot was brought outside to capture the "real"Lagos life , they were other random shots inside keke and all, she was trying to capture the okada man behind, so because she is shooting others cant make use of the road again? She said her assistants tried to tell her to leave but she kept her camera rolling .
Her dress? Actually it is one normal white and red gown, she edited t when she noticed that this particular pic had a story hidden there, like Jumoke was Tinie'e love interest, she then edited it to match his sleeves.
Speak English? Obviously they meant good English, and it is not unusual to see people in the west that speak only Yoruba, or should i saw communicate faster in Yoruba..
All these i knew because i have been following the story on her page on instagram, it is bad to make assumptions without trying to understand.
