    4. Stella, Fr Ejike Mbaka has been in that church for 20years. That place was desolate when he came, he used the proceeds from his cassettes and his Adoration ministry to build the church. They transferred him to Emene to be an assistant priest to someone who is his junior.
He is going there as a resident priest, as of the day he moved, there was not room made for him yet as to where he will stay permanently. My question is
Why haven't they transferred him since 20yrs when he was building that church?
How can a priest with over 20yrs experience not given another parish of his own?
Why is he made to be an assistant priest to someone that is his junior?
Why is it coming after his prophesy?
It has been known that Ohaneze Ndigbo and other people agitating for Biafra are behind this because he has been preaching that people should abstain from violence and anything that will cause problems in Nigeria.
What has Mbaka done? Didn't other pastors give false prophesy? Even the catholic Bishops also meddled into politics! Just that they supported the wrong person and all their prophesies were wrong.
They are scared that Mbaka is having so much power over his flock. He is a major distraction to the agitation of Biafra.

    5. Nne, if you don't have anything to say please close your mouth and move to the next post. Where is it done? A parish priest of 20years demoted to assistant priest just to get back at him, the God that he serve will surely vindicate him and turn that his room to paradise.

I trust adoration people, umu Ikuku ehn.... Muonso bu ike anyi.... Tem Tem for Jesus

    6. Will shut your dirty trash stupid fool? How does one go from being a parish priest to an assistant priest after building a parish like CKC. You better face your miserable life and look forward to being demoted after all your hard work.

    8. Hmmmmmm

In as much as I don't really fancy how many people worship Mbaka as their God, this new move is very very bad and so unfair

Their aim is to humiliate him and subject him to indirect torture, suppression and mockery!!! Can sense what they are upto from afar

All I can say is, be STRONG Mbaka!!! This too will pass...

    10. Anon it seems u don't even know anything about the Catholic Church.

The Roman Catholic Church is not a one man's business.
It is not like pentecostal where u have right or grounds to say u built this and did that.
So one person cannot come and say he owns anything all he is slaving or working for is for the church.
      He understands that better.
And they have rules that he has been breaking from time to time but they left him.
A priest is not suppose to dabble into political issues.
He should go to where he was transferred to how de hell even stay up to 20years in one parish.

    11. Anon9:11, how daft can one be?
What has Ohaneze Ndigbo and Biafra got to do with the Catholic church? Hiaah. Wetin person no go hear again for this world.

Transfer is an everyday thing in the Catholic Church. Let him go and build the new parish the way he built CKP. Abi was he planted in CKP?

    13. The only problem there is that he was demoted to an assistant parish priest instead of a parish priest.

    14. Exactly tegz. Focus on promotion in the eyes of the Lord, not man. And go a d do your "magic" na where u dey go, or those people are not worth ur preach. Ehen, and stop being materialistic, you are a PRIEST! duplex indeed!!!

    15. Going through all the comments here, I only agree with General's wife's critical analysis

Everyother rant in support of this transfer reeks of bitterness and man's desperate need to frustrate and oppress another person

Then I wonder why people complain when they get treated badly, while they are just same!!!

What happened in this matter was just an indirect way of HUMILIATING Mbaka!!! Church is politics! This has absolutely NOTHING to do with swearing to poverty and all...

My good advice is for him to accept it and stay STRONG!!! The more u complain, the more they gloat and are happy!!! The best way to shame people who aim to shame u is by becoming the best out of the shame they plotted for u and bouncing back their shame to them...

    1. Exactly his was not a promotion, but a demotion! But I'm not worried cos I know that God will still promote him higher than he was before. There's this father in owerri called "little Angel" they keep transferring him from one village to another but no matter where he goes crowd follows him and change too. From one room, in less than five months a duplex and new church building will be standing! With even new nursery and primary school. It has happened more than three times, the political people in the church don tire now! He's people are still waiting for them to transfer him to another bush again so they can go and beef up the place again. Haha

    4. I laugh at you. What does APC and PDP know about politics? Is it this nonsense they are doing?
Enter church and see what politics is all about. Starting from pope selection, to Bishops, to women leaders in the church, to girls guild, to youth fellowship.
Even Sunday school, that is where you will know that party politics is learning.

    5. I wonder why he is complaining. He's a priest! He knew what he signed up for agreed to become a priest. You can be transferred anywhere at anytime I wonder why he's crying wolf and making it seem like they are being unfair to him.
He should also learn to follow God sternly and leave politics alone.
See him clinging on to material things,he sounded no different from these politicians.
He should go and develop his new parish and stop complaining

      Delete
    6. @ Linda be careful before you attract the wrath of God. Do you think been a priest makes them moron that they can't voice out their opinion or have a candidate of their choice? Benue state once produce a Catholic Priest as a Governor so what's the big deal of Mbaka discussing about politics. Our choices can never be the same. No body is talking about moving him to another parish, the issue here is making a priest of 20 years an assistant priest under his junior priest. For your information, no body can be above the pontiff church but the church should not try to create venom that can jeopardise its activity. Have you asked yourself what will happen if his parish priest is not a Holy Ghost priest? Am sure you are not a Catholic because I know you wouldn't sound this way. Watch and see what will happen to his new parish henceforth.

  14. For starters, he wasn't promoted. He was demoted instead. How could Bishop Onaga make a senior priest an assistant parish priest and promote a young priest that hasn't been a priest for up to 4 years as Parish Priest in his former parish. They're trying to send a message. To tell him that he isn't as powerful as he thinks he is. They always wanted to know if he'll resist so that he'd be branded a recalcitrant priest. Onaga has always been a politically driven priest without a mind of his own. Church politics is even worse than normal politics.

    3. SDK FIRST SON you must be Nwa Ikuku. Am not bothered wherever they did, CKP is not his inheritance either, I could picture CKP before and how Fr Mbaka transformed it. Taking him to Emene is another way of sending him on a mission to develop but not under a junior priest. How can he be subjected to a junior priest. Getting approval from his junior before travelling or what? And I know they must have warned the parish priest never to allow him travel. But I know God will arrest his priest and make them work on one heart. Church and politics, more than APC and PDP.

  17. I would have taken on this head on but Fr Mbaka spoilt things for me by allegedly saying "I am moving from a Duplex to one room"

I just cant believe he said this!

Te Catholic Church moves Priests from one Parish to the Other.no Priest has monopoly over a particular Parish.not even if u started the Parish from scratch.

That bn said, given the nature of Fr Mbaka's Ministry I was thinking maybe they would have let him stay on. But then again, sentiments asides,Fr Mbaka has bn in dis Trans Ekulu Parish for almost 20 years. And saying he shouldn't be transfered means dat no other Priest is allowed to pastor that particular Parish.and that he has exclusive right to that Parish.him and him alone.

Again his Ministry can be moved to his new Parish.just that u know the inconvenience and logistics of putting up new structures and all.

The only thing I am not so sure about is this:making him an Assistant Parish Priest. That's d one i don't understand and won't comment on.

When one becomes a Priest,u take an OAth. That of:

    Poverty
    Obedience,Chastity and Sacrifice.

He has taken that.and there is a Higher Authority. That Authority decides over these special Workers in God's vineyeard.

That bn said,I also know that just like every other aspect in Life,Politics exists in the Catholic Church. That's where u have the biggest of Politics.

Go Thee Well Fr Mbaka.May ur vows to Obedience and Poverty and Sacrifice make ways for u. Remain blessed dear Man of God.

      Delete
  30. What is wrong with this man sef? He should remember he is first and foremost a priest who took a vow of poverty. All this modern day priests are more interested in acquisition of material things. Whether or not the church did what they did to send a message as some people are insinuating, I dont see anything wrong besides he will not be the first nor the last to so "demoted".
Some years ago our chaplain (Fr. David Anekwe) who helped build the chaplaincy from scratch was eventually transferred to a remote place up north yet he took it in stride and moved on. While he was with us his juniors were promoted ahead of him yet he did nothing. When some people got worried about it and asked him what was going on he said:
'My father was a native doctor besides I come from a very poor family yet I got the calling to serve and that is what I will do. I dont need position as that wasn't what we were trained to do at the seminary besides I took a vow of poverty so I understand that all this things are temporary. '
I believe Mbaka has either lost his calling or is in a process of doing so. Mbaka should quit complaining like a spoilt brat. The priests that have beenin your shoes, do they have two heads? #rubbish

Yet he was transferred to a remote place without a parish house even as at d time of his transfer. No priest stays at a place forever. Mbaka has lost it cos I don't know why he is whinning. APC should go and build him a duplex there since that is his problem.

  31. He is a priest and not a pastor, he can be transferred anywhere, that's part of the calling as a priest.he was supposed yo be transferred since but because he was just to powerful he made a lot of power friends, he had derailed from his duty. He emershed himself to much with politics to the extent apc now sees it as their political right to question the church. Can apc venture into a Muslim affair.apc better shut their smelling mouth. I'm happy he is being posted, those that want to see him should go there.a blessing for the people in that area, his coming there might bring development to the area since a lot of politicians will b making their way there

Jesus christ during his time moved from one place to another spreading God's word. Isn't that should be the sole aim of this fake ass Father.
One thing is clear is u are extremely good at what u do there is no place on earth that u taken to that u will not shine. So why all this by the fake Father? Is he was demoted then it means he can listen to instruction given to him. Am sure he is the type that always like to have a final say. He is subjected to authority and he must obey. If he doesn't like it the door is wife open, thus can allow others to do God's work and shine..

  37. For the traffic generated by Mbaka's news, I can understand why some bloggers just post the news without clarifying. First of all, Fr. Mbaka was moved closer to the permanent site of his adoration ministry in Emene. Secondly, Fr. Mbaka was made a RESIDENT priest, not an assistant parish priest. Any rational being should know these changes were made for Mbaka's own good and for the growth of his ministry AMEN. Resident priests are under nobody but the bishop, they just live in the parish and carry out a certain assignment, in Mbaka's case, his assignment is his ministry.

Rather than ask around how the priest managed, he is shouting "i wee suffer, I wee suffer". Abeg he should be transferred to oji-river. When I served in Enugu, I worshipped with st. Leo a parish priest *rev. Fr Ezekwu* was transferred to our church from being a parish priest to resident priest, e die? Even though in that case, the parish priest was older. Father Mbaka is just too dramatic and so are his followers.

  40. what demotion bullshit are you fools talking about...do u have any rights in the house of God? a priest or pastor shepherds a flock and any where you are asked to go is for you to go minister the word of God, teach and help people in their christian walk....you stay in a church for 20 years and so what? anyway most of these catholic priests are not even born again.. its just to come and deliver mass in English or latin, after that they go back to their parish houses to drink and receive girlfriends.....father mbaka shut up please, if u don't like it resign and go join politics full time

  42. Stella shut up if you don't know what to say. What do you know about transferring a Catholic priest from one parish to another? Which day do you start worshiping with them? Mind yourself and don't mingle with anything that Concerns the men of God. imepe onu gi otua nkegheri esi gi na onu n'aputa si because ihula onwe gi nshi na afo baa? better be guided and bridle your mouth where men of God are.

  45. Been a resident priest is a not a demotion. As a resident priest you only take instruction from the bishop not the parish priest (whether junior or senior) but you can assist the parish ones in a while, any time you are chanced. Mbaka is aware of all these. Let me believe he was mis-quoted by the press. For those questioning his transfer; you guys are just fanatics. Catholic priests dont stay in a parish for more than 6yrs ( unless for some yrs best know to that diocese). Fr Ebube muo nso was transfered from uke to umudioke all in Anambra state, hell didnt lose. Catholic priests are suppose to be seen not heard.
