    1. Availability of the damn fuel is what we need.I have a good feeling the cost of fuel will return to normal or even go lower.

    2. We need no strike at this period, all we should do is to support this honest government who are doing everything possible to maintain a country that was raped of all the money gained in the last six years of oil boom.

    3. So why did this current "honest" government & its supporters STRIKE & OCCUPY NIGERIA at same time it was supposedly being raped during the oil boom? When SWF was growing and the governors sued & won to SQUANDER the money...what did Nigerians do? What impact did those funds create in the various states? We need to look beyond tribe, religion & political affiliation in this country to move forward. But this scenario playing out now really proves that same place a man dances and gets sprayed with money, another man will do the same and be flogged like a child

  2. Pdp lawmakers tried to stop Kachukwu from entering their chamber. They don't want Nigerian to know that fuel subsidy must be removed so that we can move forward as a nation.

    1. Really? Was it not under the leadership of PDP that the proposition to removal fuel subsidy was made? Same proposition the current APC leaders kicked against all in the name of trying to frustrate GEJ. We would start making progress as a nation the moment we do away with hypocrisy and double standards!

    5. Newbie, what was the price of crude in January 2012 when ur GEJ wanted to remove the subsidy? I'll help u - $112/ barrel.

Your thieving hero had stolen all our commonwealth and wanted to abdicate a responsibility he could easily afford to maintain.

These r very different circumstances and this is the only logical option open to this country.

Kachukwu is a very diplomatic person, he knows how to confuse people with his english.

  8. To me, fuel price will not come down in six mths time as said by Kachikwu, the only thing that will happen is that by then, Nigerians would have adapted to the CHANGE in price and subsidy removal.

  11. We are not a serious people. Prices of fuel go up, prices of goods and services follow and inflation continues. These will bring us back to where we started. This government is confused! They should be fixing infrastructure first. I voted for them and don't regret it but we need a new team with better economic ideas in the next dispensation.

  13. Anon 2.32am You are very smart and logical in your thoughts - what was the price of a barrel of crude oil when clueless Jonathan wanted to remove subsidy? It would have meant more Naira for the PDP-Thieves and Mama Patience Peace to loot and share. Never again will a weak, clueless and financially indisciplined person rule this country again.

  14. Look at that obese fool Omosede Igbinedion! I shake my head in shame! It is a shame that a country like Nigeria that is blessed with very brilliant, disciplined and focused persons, is being governed by mostly thugs, ruffians and murderers.

    1. Well, when the disciplined and focused people don't like going through the rigours of politics what do u expect? They would rather sit down and collect pay check and wear dinner gown and attend events. Ehen nau... 'thugs' ti takeover ni
