Jonathan’s Former CSO Obuah Dies Of Heart Attack

Godwin Obuah, former chief security officer to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, is dead.

A source disclosed this to TheCable late Thursday, saying he died at the National Hospital, Abuja, after suffering “massive heart attack”.

The Department of State Services (DSS) had arrested Obuah two months after his principal left power.

He was detained at the headquarters of the agency.

To protest his detention, Obuah embarked on hunger strike. The secret police released him after his lawyer raised the alarm over his health condition.

He later fell ill.

Obuah was accused of benefiting from an oil bunkering deal, an allegation he denied but the panel which investigated him was dissatisfied with his explanation and recommended his dismissal from the DSS.

He was later dismissed from service.

    1. Almost everyone who remotely worked with Jonathan lost something. From career to respect to their lives. Dear Lord, let us not get seemingly good promotions that will taint/rob our future.

  2. Another Alameyesigha pattern. Once the authority comes after them they go into self acclaimed death style.

Meanwhile since they have no intention of running for any political ambition, they isolate/confine theirselves to the house or probably go for a reconstructive facial surgery so as not to be recognised.

Die indeed! Even with a corpse displayed on the day of the funeral, anaesthesia can induce death for some hours.

    1. Aren't you a monumental fool? Anaesthesia induces "death for some hours"? Biko there's a stark difference between death and unconsciousness...go & LEARN before you open your yansh in public. Maybe that's how your people have been faking their death & you think it's everyone's M.O

    2. God will give his wife and family the fortitude to bear the loss. You doing speak ill of death but is unfortunate that people act like God when they have power forgetting that is all about six feet under. Sometimes in life, peace of mind is better than all the stolen billions. The ones that are not dead were either sick or in self exile. Where is Alamiesiegha, Diezani, Kola Aluko? They couldn't even enjoy all the billions they got.
