Former Taraba Governor Danbaba Suntai is dead

A former governor of Taraba State, Danbaba Suntai, is dead.



Mr. Suntai who survived a plane crash at the Yola airport in 2012, died at home where he was undergoing rehabilitation for brain injuries arising from the plane crash.

A former commissioner of information in the state, Emmanuel Bello, confirmed the news of his demise to SaharaReporters.

    1. He refused to give up his seat as governor to his deputy after the crash and surgery. Even though he was in a bad shape he still wanted to die in the seat.

  18. RIP sir. He tried to fly the plane himself, thinking he could. Sadly he paid dearly for it.

    Let's not blame him for not giving up the seat. The cabal and political jobbers he was surrounded with did not allow him to. More so he had brain injury, he may not even know events happening around him. The same thing they did to Yar'adua and PMB.
