    5. Etinosa married like 5 years ago. Her and her then bF then were so in love (infatuation)...They were a social media couple they met on Twitter set... I think they are now separated or divorced, because all of a sudden she moved to Lagos and started acting.

Not in this part of the world mbok

I don't subscribe to any woman proposing to her man.... As a man, you should have "common "sense " to know when it's best to propose

We are not in India.. .

    The Bible says.......

  6. Wow...NNE you are too brave. When a woman says Yes it means Yes but when a guy says Yes it means Yes for now. Men can be so childish and undecided, that's why we give them time to be sure and propose.

  7. But this is wrong,a man should be the one to propose not the other way way.

Some things are just not right! and are just meant to be that way! it is a man's task and his headache.. it not romantic at all, not tomorrow someone will te me 'after all you proposed',i can spend and do most things that my partner is obliged to do in a relationship, but you see that proposal??? you are so going on your knee...it makes me feel worth and you want it more than am crazy about it..common people that's RoMAnce.. I see nothing brave about this

Remember you typed something the other time under @Anonymous... Then by mistake, you went back and used your blog ID to re send it

  9. This is not new nah, Naija girls propose all the time, infact more than the guys: "where is this relationship going"? ,"when are we getting married"? "when are you coming to see my parents"? And the most hilarious, "where do you see "us" in 2yrs"?

  12. This is not so good, the lady can buy the ring and give to the man to propose instead

    ReplyDelete
  13. This is a no for me, too bad for a lady to do this

    ReplyDelete
  14. In my own opinion, it's not bad for a woman to propose but I think she won't be taken seriously by the man because everything came easy. Most men like to chase and they also like to earn. It feeds their ego. And women too like to be chased. It's a cycle that keeps everything at equilibrium. Well, I guess things like this are part of being "modern"

  15. See, pls let's study d bible well, God created man, and gave him a job first, den he realised dat man was lonely, then he created woman and "TOOK" her to man to be his companion, God saw d desperation and loneliness in man dats why he created. Woman and gave to man, he didn't give man to woman but gave woman to man, women pls use your brains and wait on d lord, Wat d girl did up dere is foolish and won't last, cus it's not Ordained by God.

    1. Tour argument is not even in your favour. The man was lonely so God created woman for him. She is for him abi. She was made to be his companion so what is there if she proposes. After all she was made for him.

    1. The women who their husbands treat as non-existent, they all forced themselves on their husbands, right?

Y'all acting like you puzzled out the right path to a lasting and long relationship. Do what works for you and let others do what works for them.

      MISS Jacobs.

  20. I hope they had 'the discussion' before her proposing cause you can't pull this stunt and get away with it with most guys, congratulations to her, not something I'd do

  23. God forbid, i can't jux imagine dis nonsense.

    ReplyDelete
  24. God forbid. This is a NO NO.
Let fight come now, the man will begin to say the woman forced him into marriage.
Men are very good in that statement even if they are the ones that proposed. Next thing i was pressured.
Men that will sleep with women without protection, come inside and still claim the woman trapped them.
Let nature take its course. Men chase women, men propose to women and not other way round.

  25. dats Etinosa, she does funny skits on IG. this is obviously one of her jokes

  27. Shey be women dey shout equality for this blog well, well now e reach proposal all of dem dey say "God forbid." Na the same women go dey talk say "wife and not cook" also "there is no role/work for a woman" but now e reach proposal all of dem dey talk say na man suppose to propose.

One BV dey mention Bible here. I like that, but you ladies use the Bible when it suits you. Now listen, if you are a Christian, a true Christian, the Bible must, and i repeat MUST be your standard in all things and situations not just when it suits you. Have that at the back of your mind at all times.

God forbid. It is a cursed woman that proposes to a man. When suitors should be falling at your feet, the man will so treat you like trash and always remind you in argument that you 'forced' him to marry you. You must never make a man's work easy for him. God has wired men to do this. Men will never appreciate a mumu woman. God forbid. This is the peak of a woman's desperation. Mumu girls all over the world.

  29. Even when man propose, u go dey hold heart for hand. Talk less when e be say na u do the proposal. I've rarely seen such relationships work, actually. Nevertheless, I imagine the two ppl in the picture are just putting on a show.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Is this a joke or what? God forbid I propose to a man!

    ReplyDelete
  31. This can be done anywhere but certainly not Nigeria. Our men are too myopic. The guy and his family will always taunt her with it.

    ReplyDelete
  32. This is simply a case of every mallam to his kettle. Very soon, it will become a trend. Watch and see.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Well ... I can't say if this is right or wrong, but I know I don't like it. So the man is going to wear the engagement ring or what ? so who will start the marriage preparations ? will there be bride price or GROOM PRICE ?

Wish you luck as you couldn't wait for a man to propose to you.

    ReplyDelete
  34. It is not that deep, na joke

  35. First time I saw this picture, I nearly asked myself "When did this happen?"
