  3. I'm not married, neither am I a man but let me share my feelings about the wedding ring. I don't like wearing/using rings because they feel constricting. I admire those who adorn their fingers with rings, but even when the ring isn't tight on my finger, it feels like my finger has been tied up. I've told my friends that I'll just get a necklace and use the ring as a permanent pendant when I'm married. Probably, that's why some of the men don't use theirs. Others just want the opportunity to cheat without the side chick realizing she's actually a side chick. Others don't like the idea of removing them cos of the nature of their job, but so they don't misplace the ring, they drop it at home and only use when out on social gatherings with their wife

    2. Funny enough I am the one who hardly wear my ring, I can't sleep with any form of jewelry and the next morning I don't remember, my hubby complains mostly when we go to hang out together, but I don't think il be okay with a man who doesn't wear his, reason is that he is a man

  4. Cos they do not want people to know they are married. Most of them tell girls they are very much single, men are the problem most marriages are facing, unfaithful is what brings about not wearing their wedding rings. I know if a man want to cheat With ring or not he will, try and wearing your ring. Women has credit on wearing their wedding rings always.

The stupid married man that was following me up and down yesterday at Justrite was even putting on his ring abi wedding band😀😀😀....

Although i dnt know the reason why some do not wear their ring...

Mine has never removed his from his finger and the day i forgot to wear mine and went to his office , he was so angry and his face changed.. It was when we got home that he said bia nwanyi, odi ka ichoro inu di ozo, jee choo ring gi gbara biko...and nlecha gia adigo too much..lol all untop ring.

  8. It's somehow when I see some married men without their rings on. Granted some may have forgotten or they just don't like to wear it(which to me is unbelievable) or they react to it. Each to his or her own.

But for those who don't wear it solely cos they wanna deceive themselves and not Those poor young girls, Hell awaits them.

Personally,I wear my rings every single time I go out. I don't wear it at home except on some days when i'm feeling really funky😂

The General will never dare leave the house without his ring. A subtle "caution" I issued when we newly got married. And which he hasn't tried finding out the consequences should he break it.😂

But seriously I love rings so I always wear mine. And if u are around me,it's infectious. From him down to my daughters. You must wear your rings o. I get high on rings😂

My daughters can't dress up without wearing their rings. Especially my first, just like her Momma she looves wearing rings😍

    1. Why the so much love with rings TGW? I Remember the moment I wanted to do Shakara. I went to buy fancy glasses, necklace and ring so anytime am going out, I wear them.
The way my hand scratched me then ehh. I felt so uncomfortable, was looking at my hands every 5mins, not in admiration though but I was just looking athe hand. Í Wore the ring for 1 week and Í threw it away. Same with the eye glasses, couldn't see well with it. And it was making my eyes itch me. The necklace lasted for some time because I wasn't wearing it always. But I eventually threw all away.
Even till now, jewelries are not what I can deal with. Maybe, am old fashioned.

  10. Most of them have still not gotten over their single days. They still want to play games but I think just a few don't like wearing it.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Some have lost theirs, some couldn't afford the real thing at the time of wedding so when wify upgraded, they didn't really think it necessary. While some keep theirs in their purse or pigeonhole till they get home n wear it back.
I am a married woman and I don't wear my rings,d gold set we got for the wedding was robbed off us at gunpoint and I just couldn't be bother since then.

  13. Stella this your question self.OK on a serious note!Wearing or not wearing your weeding rings does not make you a cheat or not valueing your marital status.
Some men are allergic to rings as it give them rashes on their fingers.
So Stella wearing or not wearing rings should not be a yastic to judge a man's loyalty to his marriage..I know lot of men that fuck randy girls with their tear-rubber rings on their fingers. So what are we talking about here!

On the other hand, one old hag that used to toast me with his children in the car, never wore his. The reason is obvious. Mcthew.

  19. I've thought about it, I've asked a guy about it but he just said he removed it while sleeping at night & forgot to wear it in the morning. Married men should answer this question. Very interesting topic.

  21. It's immaterial to me if a man wears wedding ring or not. Wearing engagement, promise and wedding ring is a borrowed tradition. It's an immitation of oyinbo people customs.

It could even be a form of shirk (polytheism) coz some people believe that the ring generates love between spouses, and that taking it off and not wearing it will have an effect on the marital relationship. Abeg I no dey for this oyinbo man's gibberish.

  25. So they wont explain to the side chick their favorite line "i am not happy in my marriage" choi that line gives me fever.

Btw a married man can still wear his ring and still cheat like no man business. Plus some girls prefer married men whether or not you wear your wedding band.

Bottom line all men cheat and no tiny piece of metal will keep them in check.

    I don dey go

  27. My brothers wear theirs but I've noticed that some men don't like it. Maybe it's cos they might misplace it or it itches them and makes them uncomfortable.

Well, I would love it that my future hubby wears his though. I love it when I see married men wear their rings.

  28. I'm not married yet but i don't bloody care. Just do your duties as a responsible man. Dont be wearing ring upandan and be a reverse gigolo like all these Lagos boys.
Growing up i never really saw my dad wearing a ring except on sundays (Until the robbers robbed us and took them). He hates jewellery on men. As in HATES!! And i was of the assumption that men dont wear rings until i grew older and realised i was wrong.
My mum said as a young wife she complained oooh until he got one for her. She didn't rest the matter. On their 10th anniversary, he was on a trip so he made up by getting them really fancy inscription rings and matching watches (his&hers) and original pearls for her. These were very special to mum, especially as they used aboki rings for their low budget wedding 😂 8 years later robbers helped us own them (except the pearls). Chai! my mum sulked about it terribly for months.
One day he just snapped: did they steal your marriage too? I'm here the children are still here so what's all this? Please I have school fees pay!

  29. Ring or no ring, a man who wants to cheat will cheat. That said,
It is wrong for a man to go about without his ring though...as it is a symbol of his commitment/union with that special one he chose to spend the rest of his life with.

A wedding band is sacred. It is unfortunate most people don't know that and as such treat it as just another piece of Jewelry.

It's a sign of your commitment to ur lover and not just an ordinary piece of jewellery.

  30. The ring is a sign that the man is taken and not available but does NOT stop the man or woman from cheating. My humble opinion is it depends on the couple and this is one of those trivial little things couples don't talk about until it turns catastrophic in their marriage. My dad Never wore a ring for a day cause he has this phobia for jewelry and I NEVER saw it as an issue in his 56years of marriage before he passed on. I have been married for 18years and I have only taken my ring off less than 5times cause I hate wearing rings before I got married but since my wife said she would love me to always wear it I left it on in order to get used to it and today it's part and parcel of me and I don't take it off unless it's necessary. My point is wearing your ring or not depends on what you both agree as a couple cause it's a symbol of their union. All those who feel a man cannot cheat when wearing a ring will be shocked that it makes a man a target of some babes and I have had some crazy experiences and all because I wear a ring some babes have approached me after doing some findings about me. Men that will cheat with or without ring. But do what will make your wife happy. Some women are not bothered while some will breakdown seeing their husband without a ring.

  31. I don't wear rings. Itches the hell out of me. Make my fingers so swollen one will think something is going on with me. The ring is always forced out of my hands becaysd my fingers would have doubled on size
I just wear on very rare occasions when it's very necessary. Like really really necessary.

    ReplyDelete
  32. What does ring mean to you? That shld answer your question. Ring or no ring has nothing to do with cheating. Some churches don't join couple with a ring, how about that? My married bf wears his ring 24/7, even when we're doing the do. Ring is insignificant when it comes to matters of the heart.

  34. Most of the time they choose not to wear it so as to deceive single girls. That's how one guy was on my case for a year and half.you know those type of relationship you are in that you are not sure you want him as a boyfriend or a casual friend, was always stopping bye at his office on my way home from work, we then hang out at some cool joint to take some bottles before heading home..... Just explaining how we do see everyday for a year and half he tried several time for us to take it to the next level but I was hesitant.... I was not sure he was married. He always had a reason for us not to go to his house, and he earns top salary. I was always asking myself why is not married with all he had achieved...... Until I got lucky after receiving a call he had to dash out of his office,i picked up the phone and snooped..... Lo and behold his wife and son pictures and call log of written my width. Na so I carry my bag comot for him office never to look back
