Chronicles Of Nurse Atutupuyoyo....

Nurse Atutupuyoyo begins by saying ''Never underestimate the power of a man.'' as she concludes the last story....

This world is just a crazy one where you see and experience things that seem impossible and unbelievable.

The couple were in the hospital few days ago and this time around the Big Boss was on seat. After about 2hrs of consultation they came out of his office with tears and left the hospital premises immediately.

Couldn't get an update until about 48 hours when the MD came around for consultations again. The big Boss is a Family Medicine Consultant so he was able to dig more.

This is the story:
The woman confessed to her husband because she couldn't keep up the appearance and she pleaded with the husband to come with her to the hospital to seek help concerning their childlessness.

During the session with the consultant, the man suggested adoption which took the wife by surprise because according to her, she has pleaded with  the husband for same course before and he declined abruptly.

The consultant asked the wife to excuse the room as he realised the husband suddenly became uncomfortable. After few minutes of drilling the husband opened up to the consultant that he is actually the one with infertility issue which he has confirmed from several specialist hospitals but he just made the wife the victim because of the wild past his wife had.

He supported this wicked act with statements like: She would have left if she found out...... I don't wanna lose her to someone else...I did it out of love......

After the blabbing, the consultant demanded he opens up to her wife about the whole issue before he could convince the wife about adoption. After much persuasion he succumbed.

The wife was re -invited into the consultation room and he broke the ice. She felt so terrible and sad. They both agreed to go for adoption and left the hospital afterwards. The big Boss called  them afterwards to check on them and also advised them to come for counselling sessions as it may help them...

I just learnt another lesson as a nurse..... do not judge no matter how horrifying the situation may be because what you know or see may actually be the opposite of the truth....

Note: women and men with infertility issues out there should always go the health care facilities with their partners, go through the screening and treatment processes  together.

Women are always made t be the ones with the problem but it is not always so....

*WOW,so it was actually the man who had the problem?Na wah oh!!

  6. Foolish man and was blaming the wife all along. Na wa.

I dont know if to advice good to taste what you are buying. Anyway the man is bad market but the woman had to agree.

It it was the woman, she would have gone long ago. I think the woman should show him pepper small

  7. He made the woman look like the victim because of her wild past, and sometimes we say karma is not real? God will help both of them

  11. If a DNA is conducted in most families. You will be shocked at the result. A lot of men are shooting blanks. The women knowing they will be blamed just step out to do their thing

    ReplyDelete
  12. If it was the man's fault why didn't he suggest gettiing a sperm donor from fertility clinics? The wife must be a nice woman to agree with him, knowing how he blamed her. If I am the woman, I won't agree.

  13. Leave his sorry ass. He'd do same if the tables were turned. i'll only stand by a man who would stand by(and with) me. Not after putting me through all these stress will i forgive you

  14. Can you imagine? Wicked man! He did it out of love my ass

  15. That is our men for you.
they will know they are the problem but keep making life unbearable for their wives. They will even refuse to go to the hospital for testing claiming they are OK. some will go buy connive with the doctor to twist their test result to look OK.

    3. If I was the woman i will ask for donor sperm.
Someone can't come and hold you to ransom and cause you not to enjoy motherhood.
But knowing Nigerian men he will never agree to that.
Why shld the woman get preggy with another man's sperm.

  17. The man is wicked. I can only imagine the emotional trauma the lady went through. Depriving her of the joy of carrying her own child while at the same time blaming her for what she was not responsible for. If I was the lady I would have resented him, probably left him but I'm sure she doesn't know where to start from, it's not easy starting all over again and God forbid u don't find anyone serious enough to settle down with. Anyway let them go for adoption and I pray their treat the baby like their own, with love and care. Oya let me go back to my studies. I'm studying to become a nurse so I love these chronicles.

  18. Women endeavour to know your husband medical history instead of snooping around looking for side chick. Men are so good in keeping their medical problem secret.

  19. I really feel for the woman. Why will she wait this long before inviting her husband for medical consultation. As a woman if you get married and noticed for a year you could not conceive.Kindly certified that you re okay then invite your husband to the hospital you know he does not have influence over them for his too.Africa culture have being blaming woman for infertility since 1900000.

  20. Very typical for Nigerian men.

  21. There was one man in my area that had low sperm count. Mother inlaw was always coming to throw his wife's things out because they have been married for 8 years without a child. The woman don visit all the hospital and churches for Nigeria and she was certified very ok. That was how she started making trouble with this man till he agreed to go to the hospital o. Lo and behold... her husband was the cause of their problem after all. That was how she called for a meeting and mother inlaw was rolling on the floor... begging her not to disgrace her son by leaving the marriage. Aunty sha stayed because her husband was never in support of her mother. They have sha relocated to "the abroad".

  22. That is pure wickedness. The man even said he framed his wife because of her past. If I am the woman, once I ever get pregnant, I leave the man.
Yes, I saw they opted for adoption.

    ReplyDelete
  23. My question...what was the man thinking wen his wife told him her pregnancy test was positive?

    He tot she cheated?

he actually was willing to cater for another man's child knowing d circumstances d child might hv come frm?

Or he knew she was lying and played along?

    1. I wonder too. I believe he will just be mocking her in his heart and even start looking at her with sides eyes (oloshoism).

Or maybe he felt a miracle has happened

  24. Stella, I follow you say Na wa o.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Na wa! Things are really happening.

See life! If she has gone out to play away match, conceived and tell him she's carrying his child since she wasn't aware that he was the one with the problem, he would have rejoiced outwardly but knows she has messed up.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Talking abt victimization... He knew he was to blame BT opted to trade d blame card,at d end d woman always suffers and pay d biggest price.
    God help us all.

  27. I have said it several times here that 97 percent of TTCs in our families today are cause by men, the husbands.

If you visit any fertility clinic you will understand what I'm saying.

My advice to the men in this situation, don't be shy to sick medical treatment. And stop blaming your wife for the whole problem.

Secondly, adoption is not a sin,as it opens doors sometimes for the families looking for the babies of their own.

  28. Bad man,just imagine

  29. Kai so this woman was going through all this without knowing the husband is the cause, Kai people dey suffer in marriage Sha and may childlessness never be our portion in Jesus name Amen

    ReplyDelete
  30. Na wa o! Men are really good at keeping their medical records a secret. That was how I was pleading with my husband to allow us go for a pre-marriage test before our wedding,he didn't agree and in fact turned it to quarrel, that I'm giving him conditions.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Can you imagine! So the what was actually his

  32. I personally know a woman that was ttc for about 22 years, a friends aunt. Very pretty successful woman. Married since her 20s, the husband was also doing very well.
People will look at her with pity bcos she had everything but no child.
Out of the blues she left her husband. Whole family including hers were angry with her. How can you leave a man that stood by you through TTC. The man too was broken.
She left Nigeria for some months, came back heavily pregnant.
Apparently it was the husband with the problem all along.
Her daughter shld be like 10 now. She has also re-married. So many women are going through a lot during ttc. always make sure your hubby is also doing test along with you.

    1. Thanks in as much as I enjoy her stories. She's breaching the trust placed in her. Stella why not tell her the truth? This is just wrong. The delectation of a few should never break privilege. Never pray to encounter this nurse, she can cause a marriage to break up.

    3. Thank you o! As much as this segment is interesting, it's very unprofessional! What if the wife/husband is a blog visitor? Plus I don't even believe this story much! What's the husbands issue? Low sperm count or no sperm at all? Because I know adoption isn't their only option. SUSPECT!
