Speaking on the reason for the award, Mrs. Masari said the recipient exudes qualities which are exceptional and worthy of emulation by people in positions of responsibility. She said Mrs. Buhari has been making donations to victims of insurgency and other disasters, helping the underprivileged, supporting and creating awareness for education and health thereby complementing government policy and encouraging the spread of philantropic spirit among privileged Nigerians.

Mrs. Masari also spoke on Mrs. Buhari's aversion for corruption quoting her dictum that without corruption, there would be enough resources to cater for the needs of all Nigerians. Receiving the award, Mrs. Buhari thanked her host for the award and said it will propel her to do more, calling on stakeholders to improve the situation of women in Nigeria. Earlier in the day, Mrs. Buhari commissioned a Maternity Complex. She also commissioned Muhammadu Buhari School for Science and Arabic Studies Daura, where she is sponsoring the education of 60 pupils.

  5. Honored for thievery deception and lies. Ministry of women affairs has been moribund since Aisha stole their budgetary allocation to be forming empowerment upandan. Buhari is a lying thief.
