President Buhari Addresses Fuel Scarcity

President Muhammadu Buhari has broken silence on the biting fuel scarcity.
The President said the situation is regrettable.

Buhari on his Twitter handle, @MBuhari, sympathised with Nigerians on having to endure what he described as needless fuel queues.

Buhari said he had gotten NNPC’s assurance that the situation would significantly improve over the next few days as new shipments and supplies are distributed across the nation.

The president stated, “The fuel scarcity being experienced nationwide is regrettable. I sympathize with all Nigerians on having to endure needless fuel queues.

“I’m being regularly briefed, especially on the NNPC’s interventions to ensure that there is enough petrol available during this period & beyond.

“I have the NNPC’s assurance that the situation will improve significantly over the next few days, as new shipments and supplies are distributed across the country.

“I have also directed the regulators to step up their surveillance and bring an end to hoarding and price inflation by marketers.

“Let me also assure that the relevant agencies will continue to provide updates on the situation. I thank you all for your patience and understanding

  13. You nailed it…TOTALLY USELESS GOVERNMENT. Major DISASTER! I hope Nigerians remember this in 2019. I know the VP must have tried his best internally, but when we have a president who is also the minister of petroleum-even his own ministry he CANNOT control. How do you expect him to be effective as a president to the entire country? Personally, I think this was orchestrated and intentional. These people are very insensitive to the plights of the people. On top of all these discomfort, that very annoying Femi adeshina that has his face in Buhari ass, insists on prioritizing some stupid PR movie of buhari. The president if he was not a dense fuck should have immediately stopped the release of the movie. Ni gbati oun fun ra re o sharp, ode. on top of all these o! the bitch called onotchie his social media fuck face, foul mouthed FFK wanna be, then comes out to insult Nigerians on top of all these hardship. WHAT THE HECK is going on at the VILLA. Has power and money wiped out all sensibilities. We hired an ex military man for God’s sake and he has no control of his government. Obasanjo would have told them when he foresaw that Christmas would be ruined for an already depressed country; OBJ would have rounded up all the oil resellers or whatever their name is and immediately make them accountable. Then they will all certainly lose their licenses after the holidays. Have you ever seen a mess like this during an Islamic holiday? No let us be serious-let us call this what it really is… because I know a president CAN NEVER be this incompetent to be a disaster;from maina fiasco to the worse Christmas for Christians in Nigeria, it cannot be nothing else but an intentional way for the scrooge at the villa to ruin Christmas. We will certainly remember this, we have the tapes of the long line, hike in food and transportation prices and we will remind Nigerians come Election Day. This has been the most shameful display of leadership in Nigeria’s history. Buhari must GO!
