  1. Many atimes, we get too "busy" asking that we forget to even take out time to thank God...
Just like when we thank a person, He is eager to do more, same applies....
The key to open heavens is Thanksgiving.....

So today, I just Thank God for 2017... despite its hurdles, I am here... Got shelter, Got food, spending Christmas with family, Got Salvation.... I can go on and on.... I'm so excited entering the next phase of my life....

  4. Literature basically mirrors society: as drama is the imitation of life. At a point in my life,I preferred reading to watching movies and this habit helped me a lot in understanding human beings in society...
*Lady Bug feels she's having a ball by replying comments not addressed to her ''for fun''. However, what many do not understand is that we're fueling her pride by laughing at her scathing comments and encouraging her. I've not been active on this blog long enough to know her antecedent, but there's no need fighting people you don't know on the social media: just for fun and without sparing a thought for how bad they feel about your comments...
@No anonymous with a scathing remark should expect my (a) reply...
@Intelligentsia Princess, judging from your intelligent comments, you're really God blessing to mankind. Keep up the good work of encouraging people. God bless you.

My credit and debit alert is from the bank they keep taking charges and adding interest once a month. My ATM is still active and I can use it to withdraw in the UK if I wish.

  9. It still doesn't feel like Christmas to me.

Christmas has lost its appeal to me some years ago. I just see it as any other day for celebration.

I've been awake since 4:30am praising God with songs - Olowogbogboro, Onise Iyanu, Ebube Dike, Lift Him Up, Ancient of Days, Dansaki, Yahweh.

Let me go prepare for the day.

For those that still have the Christmas appeal, I say have a Merry Christmas and stay blessed.

Or you get Strepsil a throat lozenges and chew hard on eat to release the air pressure in your ear and release mint into your tube. Get enough of the lozenges and munch on it. Pele.

  26. Good morning everyone. Just a day to Christmas and it's not feeling so abi is it only my side?

In other news I've never been to a club before, not for lack of opportunity, it's just that I've never been interested in it despite the plenty invitations.
So I decided to go to the Smirnoff house party organised yesterday and I can say I've never missed anything in those years I didn't go.
Now clubbing has been checked in my "never been done list." Though the party was an outdoor one with what i saw yesterday I don't think I'll like to see the indoor one. Henceforth, when I here clubbing I know I'm not missing anything.
It's going to be a busy day for me just thankful work officially closed for the year yesterday so I can rest well.
Wish everyone of us a blessed festive season and for those travelling have a safe trip.

  30. Stella thank you for using your medium to bridge the gap between the have and have not, and for teaching most of us the act of selfless giving. I reached out in my own little way to two clergymen and a widow, besides family and it felt really fulfilling. In return I got something equivalent to what I gave one of the clergyman and another gave me a seven year old bottle of wine and I'm thinking, maybe I should just let it stay for another 13yrs and then I'll auction it for a fortune
sadly we lost a client last week, he was abducted, three days later he was rescued and his abductors apprehended, we were all happy only for us to get the sad news that he died on Wednesday. He witnessed the execution of his abductors after they confessed that his close allies were behind it. They said it was the amount of blood he saw, and his frail heart couldn't just take. God may we all not lose anyone for the remainder of the year, and may he shield us from evil friends. I'm sure he must've made plans for the festive period with his family and now he is gone all because of man's greed and jealousy. We need to be careful of the people we call friends, not all are happy with you. Please forgive my morbid tale this morning and a Merry Christmas to you Stella and everyone else. stay safe

  48. On an unrelated note, l read comments on the Teacher in South Carolina who was arrested for having sex with her 17 year old student. At least the boy is 17. What of MaryKay Letourneau who had sex with Vili Fuulaau when he was in 6th grade and just -2 years old. Sad part was Vili’s Mom was in support of the relationship. MaryKay was his Teacher, was married with about three kids or so. Well, she was given a light sentence and warned to stay away from the child but they were caught having sex again in her car and that was it. She was in violation of her earlier sentence and conditions so she was sent to Prison for 7 years. Meanwhile, she has two kids with Vili. They are now in College. They got married after she got released from Prison. Vili filed for divorce mid 2017 but they are still living together. He is 34 now while she is 55. These Teachers, etc get in trouble because you are not supposed to have sex with anyone you have authority over especially Officers and Inmates. It is a gross misdemeanor or felony in some cases. Bunch of sick people.
