Buhari Reportedly Set To Re-Contest Presidential Election,Allegedly Appoints Amaechi Campaign DG

President Muhammadu Buhari has reportedly reappointed his Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, as the Director-General of his 2019 election campaign.

According to THISDAY, Buhari may have finally made the decision to seek re-election and has started preparing to campaign.

Amaechi, who led Buhari’s campaign in 2015, has been issued a letter of appointment for next year’s election and would make an official announcement on his appointment anytime soon.

The President has hinted at contesting a few times in the past, but is refusing to share his aspirations with many people.

He has, however, discussed the matter with Amaechi, who had convinced him to run in 2015.

Sources close to the All Progressives Congress (APC), also hinted that although a majority of party members are not averse to Buhari’s re-election bid, they have advised that things be done properly.

The ruling party chieftains expect Buhari to reach out to them personally to intimate them of his re-election bid.

How can anything work? Starting from a president that took loan to buy presidential form, his maths tells him 97% +5%= 100%, in 2015 he traveled from Nigeria to west Germany, since 1999 he has 100 cows or is it his vice that is a saint but has a house in VGC? Or a minister for transport that has turned to opposition spokes man in his state? As him of the future of Nigeria transportation and he will say wike this and wike that or is it the night school poly graduate at finance or works, housing and power green snake that has finally gone under the green grass? Is it the food tester of info and culture that knows which jollof sweet pass? If he is not seeing money in peoples farm,he will see them @ burial ground or cooking pot but time to add all money found, they become technically found.from appointing the dead to lead the living to who know next?

  3. Except they rig the election. What if the man travels for another year? Will APC field him again as their candidate? Nigerians wake up. Arise and sweep these guys out. Our mumu don do owe Charlie Boy. Are there no younger politicians to run for the presidency in these parties?? Say no to a second term for PMB.

    1. @Xp, you're very correct. I found out most young people boycott voting during elections yet we want a miracle to happen suddenly. No be to make noise, if we don't exercise our rights by voting, then don't blame anyone that is imposed on us. Your vote is your power, please let's use it wisely... My opinion!

  7. My worry is the amount of taxpayers money that's going to be squandered come 2019, the one here in abia and his goons have started shouting "who said ikpeazu is not working" all because he decided to "paint" the roads in Aba last minute. father Lord!

  8. The problem most people have is you are mandated to use your voters card only in the poll unit you registered. For example, someone who registered at Ikoyi but stays on the mainland. On that day, vehicles are not allowed to move around. If only people are allowed to vote at any polling unit close to them, we will not have any problem.
