  11. Azikiwe never ruled Nigeria. He was the president of the parliament. Can you say Saraki is ruling Nigeria?

    1. Yes he ruled Nigeria because as that time Nigeria practiced a parliamentary system of Government. Today Nigeria practices a presidential system of Government as a result of which Saraki cannot be regarded as President.

    2. Azikiwe was the first Presdient of Nigeria from 1963 to 1966.
      He was the first Governor General of a federation of the 3 regions. When Nigeria severed ties with the British monarchy, the Governor_General position was therefore replaced with that of the President.
