  6. They have to use them because of accent. You don't want them to start subtitling their movie for their audience to understand our thick acccent. You go fear 'ouse' instead of 'house'. ' e his'instead of 'he
is'. 'An otel' intead of 'a hotel'. They want to make it easier for their audience biko.

    3. "Otel, e, ouse" and all the above mentioned pronunciations are exclusive to the Yoruba people (ethnic group) . Let me remind you that we have over 250 ethnic groups in Nigeria and over 500 languages in Nigerian alone. Making us the only country in the world with that much different tribes and tongues still together as a Nation. Don't try to trivialize a whole nation into just one accent. The Yoruba accent doesn't define us. The way a Tiv man speaks is different from a Jos man, the way an Igbo man speaks is different from a Kano man, the way a calabar man speaks is different from Bayelsan man. Accent doesn't come to play here but choice. Even the Prince of wakanda does he sound Nigerian to you when he speaks? He sounds South African. So this has nothing to do with our "heavy accent"dont mock what you don't understand. After all they watch our movies. How do they understand it if it's that "heavy"?

You better open your mind. English too is an accent. No one has the monopoly of proper speaking. It's all a choice.
