    3. You’re very right, both. That was the first thing that came to my mind.

9-5 for the experience and improving expertise

Be my own boss when I’ve mastered the craft and I’m raking in major dough.

    4. Not everyone can run a business, some actually prefer 9 to 5 jobs.

My Uncle's friend after working for 25 years in the UK was offered to a lump sum to retire him. Because the company he worked for was folding up.

He declined the offer, and went for the alternative of being redeployed to another city to work till his normal retirement

    5. My own boss, I hate having to work on a schedule. So waking up everyday and actually getting ready for work before 9 isssaaaa No!
Also, I cannot for the life of me stand office drama, I hate small talks, expect I am given my own personal space aka one office to myself .
Next, how do I run my home, run my life and still run office duties, 24hrs in a day isn’t even enough talk more of 8/9-4/5 hours.

  4. 9-5 job is necessary when the capital for business is not available. Being an entrepreneur can never be quantified with anything..especially when you are a successful one. I pray I get to that point where I leverage on my business. Enjoying my money ๐Ÿ’ฐ like a boss!

  8. I like the perks of having a 9-5 like medical benefits, a pension plan. Working for yourself can be so freeing too, and you have more control over your time, and the potential to make lots more money.
I have never worked for myself, but am considering it.

  20. For me, I have been running my own business for more than 7 years. Being an entrepreneur in Nigeria is not that easy you have a lot of bills to pay From nepa to local govt to rent to salaries, to little bills that adds up to huge amounts. I always told myself after marriage and child bearing i would get a 9-5 which i did get this year. Cause believe me you, daily your needs and wants increases. There are times even you as the boss is left with nothing to fall back at the end of the months. The staffs believe you are to perform magic when the need arises to pump in more cash. Any little money you get you want to reinvest and you also need money for your self. The 1st comment says it all: if you can run a business and a do a 9-5 by the side is cool.
