Violent Protest In Abuja

If you are in Abuja, you need to stop what you are doing right now to read this.....

Please be careful and avoid Maitama and Wuse area because the Shites are protesting in large numbers and they are allegedly shooting people..

Police is trying to prevent the El -Zazakky group from converging at Unity fountain,so please don't go near Maitiama and avoid NCC building.Avoid Transcorp and Wuse market as well.

A Stray bullet just hit someone inside NCC building and people are running helter skelter....

The Police is tear gas-ing and trying its best to disperse them but these Shites are determined.....They are fully armed and might spread into other areas so please stay indoors  and avoid large crowds in front if you are driving.

  4. Where is the millitary?

When u protest with arms n pose a danger to public, you should be subdued with force...the rules of engagement should apply.

  8. Lord have mercy! Are these people stronger than the force? What kind of trouble is this? My heart is just beating. I have people outside. I've informed them tho.

  9. The bullet didnt hit anyone thankfully. The earlier the Military do something about this the better cos Shite members are the most dangerous sect to fight. Before you know it, Abuja will be on fire and they are ready to die for their cause.

    1. Those were not Shiites dear. They were Muslims who came to celebrate Maulud for their spiritual leader Abbass Inyass. The gridlock was something else. I spent over one hour in Central Area, going to Nyanya.

  12. The Nigerian State is desperately wicked and unfair in their actions. On Friday and Saturday, members of the Tariqa Muslim sect caused a standstill in maitama and wuse parts of Abuja as they congregated, no security operatives disturbed them at all. Now because it's the Shiites, the whole Nigerian security apparatus is out in force.
Let them release this Zakzaki man make we rest abeg. This lack of information about him is wrong.

    1. It was actually all over, go slow everywhere, my hubby kept calling me to leave the store and start coming home, it’s not about sales. I am tired of these people, we even thought they left on Saturday not knowing they had plans for today. Thank God I did not even go anywhere today
