  1. I have a question to ask... straight to the point....

Okay, I have a side hustle which has to do with Events.

So,I got a job to do for "Alhaji".
The thing Is, the last two weeks have been hectic and required me moving in and out of town... So so we pushed the meeting to when I return.
Yesterday, I messaged Alhaji to fix me on an Appointment as I was available now...
Alhaji replied that he was fasting therefore I could only come by 7pm (which is out of my work time). So I told him it was inconvenient and we will work a more perfect timing which he was okay with.

My question Is, how does work affect a fast? Cos I recall when i used to do a 9 to 5, I worked directly with my boss even when he was fasting moreover, Hajiya (his wife) is always in our meetings as we cant take decisions without her approval. He seems very in love with Hajiya so it's not like he has space to like me so I doubt that's the case.

Then secondly, day time or 7pm, what actually changes? It's tge same thing we are discussing afterall

I honestly need to be enlightened cos I've been confused especially cos I try to be very strict with my "work time"

    3. Maybe that's when he's comfortable to host a meeting.

    4. I schooled in the north and one thing I noticed was that most guys don't like going close to ladies during this period. I guess it's to avoid any form of temptation or impure thoughts that might spoil their fast.

This may be the case of your client. I may be wrong though. Talk to him again.

    5. Well maybe he wants total concentration on the fasting, no distraction whatever. We fast differently you know.

  5. So,a friend of mine told a pregnant woman "the day this spit you are always spewing touches me,that day you will know who I am". I couldn't help but laugh, but seriously what is with pregnant women and spitting anyhow and everywhere?
Recently, an older colleague in my work place tried to caution one of them and she quickly told her to mind her business or move her seat elsewhere.
We all know the spitting comes with the pregnancy but isn't there a way to make it less irritating rather than pissing everyone off. A little bottle can be carried always to use discreetly.

I heard dry coffee and cutting off sweets helps to dry up the saliva though.
Is it also true that not all pregnant women spit and that most spitters are those with baby boys?
    Morning.

    2. Old waves tales. Those that spit are just spiting for spitting sake..o hate it too. I am pregnant and don’t do all of that..thank God.

      Delete
    3. Lol. Firstlady, let them bear with her. If you know what she's going through eh. Yeah, I agree she should make it less irritating but at times it can't be controlled and worst of it, she can't swallow it. Yes. Preg saliva is not like the regular saliva you swallow. This one causes nausea and makes you want to throw up (in my experience). But I had a way of controlling mine cos I couldn't carry container about. That alone irritates me sef (seeing my saliva).

I think your colleague should find a way to make hers less irritating for those around her. Probably chewing gum with less mint will do cos mint gums causes heartburn (in my experience). 😘😘

      Delete
    4. Little bottle????? No abeg. I think mint, strong mint so could help

    5. I also heard coffee is not good for pregnant women.

Pregnancy is a very funny stage.

I did it when I was preggy for my first daughter.

You don't have to make it look irritating to the next person sha.

      Spit with style.

Not all preggy women spit. Some are allergic to smell, others suffer breakout on the face, etc

    10. True some pregnant women expect everyone to accept thier spitting(lol)though its not easy comporting yourself at that time oo,some do it with swag too!I don't spit in pregnancy .

  6. THE SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE HAS BEEN DESECRATED.

I read a news yesterday on how some herdsmen had attacked a seminary, shooting a priest and injuring so many others. I want to ask, what has happen to our security force?

Are this kinsmen of Mr President above arrest and prosecution? Why aren't the army or police fighting this people? Is it because of their ethnicity? Have the security outfit become political? Was the military sieged of operation Python dance in the south eastern state and crocodile smile in south south necessary and justifiable considering what has been happening in Benue state, Taraba State, Southern Kaduna and Nassarawa State and nothing of such army and police deployment has being made to avert more bloodshed.

These are marauding herdsmen, in connivance of freed boko haram detainee perpetrating this act and bad as it is the government turned a blind sight and only concern about their political interest. Human life has no meaning anymore and the fundamental rights being abused.

To say I was shocked will be an understatement, for a part in me did died the very moment when I heard the governor of Kaduna state said the killings going on currently in the country hasn't gotten to the point of the tension being created about it in a BBC broadcast. Did you just read that? That 73 bodies buried on a single day in Benue and the 19 Catholic faithful in the same Benue state not to talk of the thousands in Taraba, southern Kaduna and the rest.

If a man who ought to be a custodian of the law and human rights could said this, then I doubt the redeemability of Nigeria. We have lost it all as a people and as a nation.

Today a good number of persons have chosen to be silent, tomorrow it could be anyone to fall a victim of this brutal, genocidal and ethnic cleansing going on.

"If you remain silent in the face of injustice and persecution, then you have chosen the path of the oppressor."---Desmond Tutu.

  32. My colleagues were on about this recent baby mama brouhaha yesterday *rolls eyes* God knows that I really don't fancy Linda Ikeji, but the only reason I don't bitch about her is because I got to know Stella's blog from hers. She was on and on about this blogger that is this and that, and I decided to check it out. Voila! I got hooked 😁😁😁

Anyhoo, how many of us have used the word 'NEVER' in reference to a situation or occurrence and later found ourselves trapped in the same thing we thought we can't do? It might be something major (like celibacy) or something minor (like cussing back at anons on SDK blog 🤣). But we can't deny it's happened one or twice.

As for me, I'm not 37 (abi na 42😉) and single; so I wont judge her. And I really like the fact that Stella has taken the upper route on this, to not blog about her situation. Any need kicking someone who is down? I can bet my coconut rice that Stella had the gist but was writing in hashtag. Heheheh... only say that her hashtag dey give headache so I don't bother 😣😣 Not everyone should do vindictive blogging, biko. Sometimes give people space to go through their shit. So Stella big ups to you for not making mockery out of her story 👊👊

In other news.... Toke's ex boyfriend that she refused to confirm that year.... He's married oh! Wawwwu.... the girl even get belle. I'm sure Stella doesn't want to kick her now that she's down too 🤣🤣 cos her 'it is well' posts don start #oshiscoPLC Don't give boyfriends any space on your SM... you wanted to pepper, now look at that. And the babe he married is one quiet low key girl who we hear doesn't even do social media and all those shenanigans

    2. Chikito I love you for this you put up there. That line got me "Any need kicking someone who is down?" Stella not writing about it increase my love for her. I know the kind of traffic any post about it would have generated in this blog but she choses the path of wisdom and understanding. Chikito you have a beautiful heart in saying this. I never miss reading any of your comment, they are always informative and educative. *haters will soon call it asslicking*

Already have some savings, wish to add to it, to expand my Ankara business, more varieties in atiku and probably atiku cotton.

SDK pls help my life with that 100k. I'm the Chronicle poster from last week Wednesday with the troublesome wife and mother in law. I comment on serious issues with this my blog ID when I'm not advertising properties with URL.
I will use the 100k to start selling phones accessories like charger, earpiece, phone batteries, etc. I have a small space in mind for the business as one does not need a big shop to start.
Only one person sells these things in my area and where he is very far. People pay transport to go there. I know where they sell them in bulk in computer village Ikeja Lagos. They are very lucrative, those original android batteries being sold for 2k - 3k are sold in dozen price of 700 - 800 in computer village. The android charger being sold for N1000 retail price is not up to N500 in dozen price. Pls help me, I will not disappoint you by God's grace. Thank you.

  63. This is for you Stella, you don't need to post it. I love you and your blog and God knows that. But I sometimes don't know whether you are actually a mugu or just have a big heart. When sexy daddy was licking your ass and defrauding bvs, you encouraged it by refusing to post his call out comments giving him giveaways. Now I am not saying Teejay is sexy daddy, but their mode of operation is the same. You can give him money and other giveaways, but please warn him to stay away from bvs. I know the bvs are adults but then most of automatically are drawn to those who lick your ass and you seem to enjoy. He has started insulting and jabbing those he thinks are 'poor" on the blog and hailing those he thinks are "rich". Please caution him to not try and defraud any bv. Thank you and have a great day.
