Yesterday i was out shopping and left my big Bambinos at home with Instructions they should not open if anyone rings and not even pick up the intercom.....
After like an hour,i see like ten missed calls on my phone and then the Bambinos called back saying ''Oh Mama,we miss you,you have been gone for an hour,did you forget you left KIDS at home?''...I asked ''what kids?You boys are big enough to get Married oh,ake una free me abeg??Hahahahahahhahahahahahahahhahahahaha...
I told them,i was on my way back and they said ''Please hurry,we are anxious to discuss somethings with you' and don't forget to buy that special bread!''Hahahahahhahaha
I got home and after hugging me tightly,they tell that they had nothing to tell me but were just practising how to call their wives later if she is late coming home............My Mouth fell open!
These Boys and their sense of humour is off da hook!!!
To the person who said i should start Bambino tales column and maybe others would follow,abeg it is sweeter like this when it spontaneously done,before i go and start adding fabu.
The person who suggested i give out bags of rice each instead of sharing it,i am sorry i cannot do that cos i did not plant money somewhere and anything i give out must be earned......

Calling people derogatory names isn't civil or sound morally, I only pleaded with yori yori and not a command or shade as some people are trying to make it look. I did that because I felt bad how they are dragging her here. Remember I also attacked Eka too when she called Yori Yori a plague. We can criticise and engage constructively without the insult is all I meant. The reason Stella doesn't enable some comments.

DeleteGood morning all. I’m in dire need of information help. My daughter has been diagnosed of generalized absent seizure since she was 3yrs old. She saw a pediatric doc in national hospital (dr shattimma) for a year who conducted EEG and brain scan before prescribing epilim and keppra. She was consistently taking these drugs for one good year without any seen improvement. She had seen many other pediatric neurologist from that time to now that she’s 7yrs yet instead her seizures keep getting worse. She has been given ethosuximide,Lamotrigine,Tegretol and couple of other medications. Her seizures have not reduced. Pls does anyone know any good pediatric neurologist that I can be referred to or has anyone been in my shoes? It breaks my heart seeing my only daughter of 7yrs going through this😭😭

Tell your hubby to rent an empty house, the money u will be paging for service charge on those properties will be enough to get basic things like pots, gas cooker, mattress, buckets and other necessities. As time goes on, u will get the rest.

To the chronicle poster of yesterday, DO NOT GIVE ANYBODY YOUR PLACENTA, I don't care if its for good or for bad. Its too risky to tow that path and do not trust anybody. Don't argue with your husband or FIL, just act like a mumu, keep smiling. When any of them reminds you, just smile and tell them you have not forgotten. Have your own personal plan, talk to the doctor before delivery or get one of your trusted family member like your mum or sister to stay with you during delivery so they can help you keep it while u dispose it yourself. When your husband asks about it, just tell him, the hospital management has disposed it since its one of their policies and you were not aware because you were too weak or tell him it was scattered so the management had to dispose the pieces. You can even start crying when explaining to feign ignorance.

So I met up with my nephew's teacher, laid out my observations, apologies were made and another child started crying and said she too wants to be told sorry that they always push her head too, another one chirped that my teacher said I don't know anything, I just looked at them, I said they shouldn't kill d self esteem of this kids, they are all 4yrs n below, they need encouragement, anyway I told her if my nephew complains again, the school admin will hear my recording cos my phone was recording all the complaints.

Oluoma was his only sister, he loved and protected her dearly from childhood. She grew to be the most beautiful girl in the village. Every young man in Obinze wanted to marry her. But Arinze, with his parents' support, persuaded Oluoma to further her education. In addition to her beauty, she was very brilliant too. So, they turned down every suitor who came to seek her hand.
But Oluoma had fallen hopelessly in love with Uzoma, the son of the village Chief. Uzoma had dropped out of school years before, he refused to do any business or learn any handwork. He always talked about America and travelling out. He would be seen dressed in hippie attire, wandering about the village. This was the man who swept Oluoma off her feet. He made her sweet promises and charmed her with his good looks. He also spoilt her with gifts and drove her around the village in his father's Volvo. She was the envy of most girls in the community.
Her parents were not happy. They informed Arinze about it and he came back to Obinze.
He had just gotten a job as a secondary school teacher in the city, and had also been processing an admission for Oluoma at the Polytechnic. Arinze and his parents agreed that she'd go back to the city with him, pending when she got the admission. They wanted to do everything within their power to sever the relationship between her and Uzoma. He was a jobless good-for-nothing fellow who rode on his father's fame and wealth.

ReplyDeletePls is 5yrs too much gap to give a child before birthing another one ( we have been TTC to no avail) My mil has been on my neck for another child and I told her to go and ask her son because he will be the one to put the sperm first before my egg will fertilize it. She now told me if her son was having any problem that we won't birth the first one and I said if that's it then the second one shouldn't be a problem. I have told hubby to let us go for check up, he said we are fine.

One two members of their extended family were there; his aged uncle and his wife.
Oluoma went home with her husband. One month later, the beatings started. She heard rumors of her husband's affair with other girls and when she confronted him, she got swollen lips and eyes in response. He kept late nights, drank irresponsibly, and flaunted his numerous girlfriends.
On one occasion, she ran back to her parents' house. He had beaten her to a pulp that day. But he apologized and she went back. Her pregnancy was hell.
When Arinze heard of his sister's sufferings, he went to the village and threatened to kill Uzoma, should anything happen to his sister. Uzoma changed for a while.
Oluoma gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Mmachi.
A month after the birth of their daughter, the couple had a big fight. Oluoma saw her husband one evening, at a local beer parlor, smooching a young, heavily made up girl, on her way to the market. She had asked him for money to buy foodstuff that morning, he claimed to have none. But here he was, two plates of pepper soup and bottles of beer served in front of them. She created a scene, the young girl disappeared. Uzoma, infuriated, dragged
her home. He kicked and rained her with blows, Oluoma defended herself by trying to fight back but it was useless. Uzoma was a huge man. She climbed the bed where her baby lay sleeping, hoping that the sight of the child would soften her husband's heart. He grabbed and threw her on the floor like a pile of clothes. He raised his hand to land another blow but noticed she wasn't moving. Mmachi had woken up and was crying. She needed breast milk. He checked his wife's pulse, she wasn't breathing. Oluoma had become lifeless. She was dead!
Uzoma fled from the village.

ReplyDeleteAww dear. I perfectly understand as I am a few weeks close to my EDD and can't help myself much cos of the heaviness and aches.
DeleteI am already afraid cos my bump has become so big. Especially when I remember my last was a 4kg baby and was very difficult and painful.
Follow your doctor's advice as they usually give 10 - 14 days after EDD and then induce if labour doesn't show up.
God's got you...safe delivery .
My sister took casor oil on her last pregnancy. Took it in the morning and labour started in the evening. But u should confirm from someone close to you kke iyour mum or another mother around you.

ReplyDeleteI am still in shock from this mornings accident. I was in a bus and trying to find my phone in my bag only for the driver to match brake while other passengers were shouting Jesus, behold a child under the bus when we came down.
how this boys head was not crushed, only God knows. He was pulled out alive but with lots of scratches on his body, I just thank God for His life.
