ReplyDeleteOk seen.
ReplyDeleteMtcheeew, just imagine.
ReplyDeleteI think the headline is misleading. Seeking a restraining order is different from 'sueing'. Lawyers in the house, help us give more explanation.
ReplyDeleteShe used a headline a lot of people can relate to.
DeleteIn a nutshell Saraki has gone to court to ask the court to restrain staffs of National Assembly from proceeding on an industrial action to press home their statutory allowances.
As a senator, your quarterly allowance is #42m. As a Senate president, the figure is much higher and you get paid always on time. Yet, as the Chairman of National Assembly Service Commission, the welfare of staffs doesn't bother you.
Since 2015, quarterly allowance of Legislative aides haven't been paid, no training whatsoever and PASAN staffs have been suffering in silence while you allegedly "share dollars" all in a bid to become party presidential flag bearer.
I'll rather stop here but be assured that what goes around comes around around. No amount of intimidation from court will stop workers from fighting for their rights. You may chose to ignore but they will continue to shout/fight. Aluta Continua.
They are supposed to do the suing not you
