    4. Oh please! Enough with these rubbish comparisons! That's how this aggressive feminism started plus all the other madness in Nigeria! The whites took away the physical slavery and installed the mental slavery!

We blacks always wanna be like the whites thereby forgetting our own origin and all the traditional ways and letting it die off without harnessing it.
Example: We discarded our own traditional herbal medicine and focused on the white man's. Thereby forgetting ours and not knowing theirs. Meaning that we currently have non.

Look at us dying like chickens. Very low life expectancy . The Chinese mad upheld his traditional practices, evolved with it and made it more better by the day.

Look at the whites rushing to take the Chinese medication and other stuff.

See if I start now to write epistle on all the rubbish we Africans do ee... Then I'd have to create my own blog and movement, and hashtag and followers...

  6. What an ugly thing to say. Every white girl is not flying a plane, and what of the African girls who are pilots too. What of the black woman who owns her own airline. What of the multitude of African women going into medicine, engineering, science and the likes.

  7. Haha our culture emphasizes marriage/being married, the white culture does not. The emphasis in America is talent, ability, education, new discovery. Nobody cares whether you are married or not, as long as you your job done. Nobody is called Mrs in the workplace. Either your name, Dr.this or Prof that, no Mrs. It is no surprise they have been to the moon several times and back. But our poor governance made our case worse. Even if a Nig girl wants to be a pilot, the opportunities aren't there. Her parents will push her into marriage faster than into an aviation school. It is what it is. Singlehood is stigmatized in Nigeria, not in America. Oprah Winfrey, Shonda Rhimes, Condoleeza Rice are doing big things and respected for their craft. They aint married. But In Nigeria, y'all mock Linda Ikeji for what? 'for not being married'. I mean, see the difference in our mentalities. Biko I am not Nigerian.

  9. Sounds like that anti Nigerian girl on this blog. The one always yarning about abroad husband.

I won't blame us now.Half of the topics on our social media are all about relationships, our songs and movies too.

I just realised that many of us don't live balanced lives. Aim to be complete and then if marriage comes, fine,if not life goes on.

    1. I love ur comment,if our ladies should leave men and men related issues and try to establish something for themselves then they will b no comparison. As a Nigerian, I'm almost influenced by talks to get married, marry well, imagine even d churches we seek refuge from, also highlight on this, ull hear a pastor prophesying to d single ladies, u will meet ur spouse, d right man for u, this year will b ur year, wat about ull break new grounds? D world will hear ur name? at d end ull see a half baked lady with no purpose but to marry and maybe own a big plaza, that's d highest they'll aim to achieve.
Our society, custom is a big hindrance

    2. Youre talking as if world people will let singles drink water and drop cup, even if its not ur priority, u wont seem to rest! Insults everywhere

    3. @First lady haha you nailed it. One Nig church I went to in USA na so the pastor started. "ALl the single ladies, stand up". Of course nobody stood at first call. Then the manipulation. 'You will not stand up now, that is how you will miss your blessings. That is how you will miss the prayers yada yada". Of course it worked. At 2nd call people stood, but reluctantly. The stigma eh, as if he was calling for sick people or something.

  12. This is a senseless post by whoever invented it. There are lots of Nigerian ladies doing very well for themselves and achieving even more than their male colleagues. Its high time Africans stop hating on themselves and having inferiority complex.

  13. Like we don't have Nigerian women in top positions across many fields both in Nigeria and abroad. If una like continue being close minded assuming the worst of your nation. Rubbish.

  18. Rubbish! How many white girls are flying plane? Don't we have female pilots here? Nonsense meanwhile my white neigbours here, aged 28 and 30 don't know what blood group, gynaecolgy and other basic words are. Only few of them intelligent, others are olodo.

    3. Yes some of them can afford to be olodo cos their ancestors did the basic work and gave them a good platform and country. Even in their olodoness they may never experience lack of electricity or clean water. Some of them are heirs of family fortune. But we Nigerians don't have that luxury. Las las na we dey rush their country, leaving ours to rot. No Nigerian will reject US citizenship if given. So who is the real 'olodo'?

  22. Pastors have their members spending too much time in church. When I hear the schedules for weekly programs in some churchesim like that's part of the problem. If you must keep members in church that much at least do programs to help them grow. Bring in career development advisors etc

  23. What is the basis of this comparison?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Its sad but through, all we Nigerian ladies tink of is how to end up in a man's house with a ring n children..please if u r in Lagos say hi,let's chop rice togeda this Christmas..

  25. I'm really happy with the comments here, though many were not very articulated but the sentiments were beautiful. Such slander and needless put-down of Nigerian/African women who are already doing so much in a deeply one-directional, limiting environment should never be tolerated. Attack them with facts and cold reality when they arise.
Nothing is enough for many mediocre Nigerian men till they wear out their sisters /women.

This is exactly how black American woman disrespect festered. The whites put them down, their low thinking men joined the bandwagon and grew a mentality transversing generations aimed to build hate, low self esteem and break the spirit of their women. Thank God Nigerian women are waking up and giving it back hot hot. Namsense!

    ReplyDelete
  26. It is true. Mental and intellectual laziness abound in Nigeria. Girls in churches praying for miracles. Guys parambulating looking for pants to steal or body parts to cut. That's a society filled with people who have no trust in their innate abilities. Argue with your hidden pants.
