Boko Haram Brouhaha - Borno Gov Weeps At Meeting With Buhari -Video

The Governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima, on Monday broke down in tears when a delegation from the state visited President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja.

The governor was moved to tears because of what he described as the recent setback in the fight against insurgency.

He, however, noted that the leaders had not lost hope in the President’s ability to win the war and restore peace in the state.

Amidst the tears, he told the President that the delegation came to present a set of observations and specific requests from a security meeting held a week ago in the state, which will require urgent presidential intervention.

The meeting has now come to an end and the governor declined to give details of the observations and requests made to the president.

Others present included the National Security Adviser, Mohammed Babagana Monguno, the Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, the DG of DSS and NIA, Chief of Defense Staff, Abayomi Olonisakin and members of the National Assembly.

    1. No they can't, for they are cashing out hugely from it. What do you think the security budget are for?

    2. Perhaps someone will not agree that the last administration was also cashing for it. Just this one.

    4. 09:45 I didn't exonerate the last administration. Read my comment very well. If I do, why then was Dasuki arrested?

    5. Good you agree that the last administration laid the foundation for this disaster. At least, you are now agreeing that Daduki’s arrest is not just witch-hunting but because him and those in the past administration, under the authorization of the former president gave room for embezzling of monies meant to fight this menace. Sadly, the danger is like wildfire and it is still here with us.

    6. So you too agree that this president is given room for embezzling?

  2. Now you can understand what I have been saying about Baga community and others yesterday. There is more to it than meet the eyes but the press won't report it, for fear of being rough handled by the military just like we saw the commando-like nature of the military towards Daily trust newspaper on Sunday. You can imagine the situation on ground that forced the chief security officer of a state to weep over the deplorable situation of security in Borno.

The defence HQ will always tell you there is no problem or cause for alarm, but fleeing solders will tell you that Boko Haram have captured their based and chased away residents.

    2. Don't be deceived by anyone that will come up to tell you the military are in control over these communities I told you. For if truly they are, the governor of Borno won't cried out for help.

    1. We have gone beyond this petty sentiment to facing the matter on ground. GEJ, Olisa Metuh, Deziani, Patience Goodluck, FFK were part of the northerners who squandered security allocations right?

Sorry you only saw Jonathan’s name there without connecting the comment with the one that came before it. Is it that your chill pills didn’t work for you before latching on the comment? 10. I also weep for my country , I just wonder when our prayers will be answered , when will God hear our cries and answer us, I thought if our faith is as small as mustard seed we can move mountain, does that mean that none of us have faith that's why our prayer is yet to be answered?

    1. God has already answered us long ago but we are blind by sentiment and greed that we can't decide for ourselves.

    2. Answer you with what?
      How?
Lazy muggers always outsourcing your common sense to God because one single cogent thought will capsize your collect brains.

Don't get off your eternally lazy asses.
Be waiting for God to ride in on a donkey into your miserable lives and save a wasted lot.

The countries that pulled themselves up from utter oblivion, did not spend all their hours lamenting to God, doing vigil up and down. Ordinary people, common people.

THEY WORKED FOR IT. FOUGHT FOR IT. DIED FOR IT.

Stay there exchanging buggers and saliva. Hunger and suffered never do una. In a few months, people will be eating each others flesh on the streets.

Ehen where is that your Biafra messiah? Where has he run to this time???
      Lmaoooooooooo.

    3. Correct response, even the expression says heaven helps those who help themselves. Have Nigerians helped themselves? They should keep waiting for the God that man created.
