Buhari Tells Nigerians Not To Make The Mistake Of Voting In Any PDP Candidate Into Power

President Muhammadu Buhari has asked Nigerians not to make the “mistake” of voting the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) into power.

Buhari said this during the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential rally in Lokoja, Kogi state capital, on Wednesday.

He said a vote for the PDP would return the country to “the ugly past”, accusing the opposition party of squandering the nation’s wealth.

“All we’re trying to do is to remind you to think, ‘Where were we in 2015 when we came in (and) where are we now?’ ‘What have we been able to achieve with the resources available to us?’” he asked

“To remind you, I have challenged anybody in Nigeria to check in Europe, America and Asia that Nigeria was producing 2.1 million barrels a day at the cost of US$100. So, Nigeria was earning 2,100,000 times US$100 times 16 years.

“Where was that money? The railway was killed. There was no power. They said they spent $16 billion, not naira, on power. Where’s the power?

“I’m warning you, don’t make any mistake of choosing any PDP candidate. What they will try to do is to cover the theft they’ve committed against the nation.”

He promised to secure the country against insurgency, banditry and other violent crimes.

The president also promised to sustain the “progress” recorded in all sectors, while dismissing allegations that the APC planned to rig the elections.

    1. I agree with him. Nigerians always want easy fix without trying to make a sacrifice which is a pity. Easy come, easy go. Jonathan govt literally messed up the country financially by scraping the govt purse and it doesn't help that our most important money generating source that is Oil price has fallen very low. It is going to take more than 4 years to turn the country around. Obama didn't turn around the recession inUS in 4 years too. The last thing this country needed this time is to change the govt. Wake up people and don't be deceived by false promises

  6. Look who is talking. The person speaking should be ashamed of his abysmal performance last night. There isn't any iota of shame in you else you wouldn't say things like this. What have you done to better the economy or the security situation you met in the country? Haven't things gone from bad to worse? Nigerians should have known better that you are a failure but no, ethnic sentiment blindfolded them all. Pundits and the bookmakers are already predicting doom should you succeed with another four years. My worries are that, the gullible ones will still gamble again with their future.

  9. Buhari doesn't even need to advice. Our minds are already made up to vote for you. The minds of Most Nigerians who want project Nigeria to work. Those who are planning to vote for PDP are mostly Biafrans and no doubt Atiku will win in Biafraland but not in Nigeria. Atiku can only defeat Buhari in Biafraland but not in Nigeria. The minds of majority of Nigerians are already made up. We are for THE NEXT LEVEL!

    1. A plagiarized next level lolzzz. Do you know your president plagiarized the next level logo? Even Obama inaugural speech and the Nigeria air carrier logo that didn't see the light of the day. That reminds me, why are Nigerians not asking question about the Nigeria air carrier? That costs billions of tax payers money. Isn't this an act of fraud and deceit?

    3. Gbam! Please tell them. It's amazing how people forget things in a hurry. PDP is death trap.

Anyways, it's not by vomiting trash on social media, it's by action and people are ready to vote APC, they have the general interest of the people unfortunately the people are impatient.

As for me and my family, so far we serve God the creator and heaven and earth, the God of Elija, Isaiah and all the good bible prophets, we will not lack. I have a good job, my hubby has two jobs in this hard Nigeria as project manager and also welding inspector certified. If hungry Nigerians want, they should go and go collect bribe and vote in Buhari. Kogi wey never see food eat dey come out in numbers; they never see something.

  18. Yes, PDP sold Power distribution but APC has successfully killed the entire concept from 15 to 20 hours power daily supply in 2015 to 0 to 10 hour supply in three (3) days. I believe we are all adults let us tell ourselves the truth. If you don't pity yourself at least pity your parents and children. Nigeria is heading towards doom if APC continues after 2019...
