    1. The youth restiveness here is worrisome. Cult activities here are terrible and damaging. Kidnapping are on daily basis at the moment along side militancy and oil bunkery. It is a case of survival of the fittest but again so many strong men have gone down. So it's only by God's grace we are overcoming the hurdles here. Sometimes we are greeted goodnight with sporadic gun shots fired all over the area and awoken some morning with the same shots.

  5. People are always kidnapped at that Ada George axis, mostly in hotel. I lodged in a hotel sometime last year at that Ada George road when I had an important guest. When I came down to get something outside, I saw some group of heavy armed men dragging a man out of the hotel. At first I thought it was SARS but on a second thought I dodged and was watching until they left. It was then we were told they were kidnappers. The man they kidnapped had just checked in with a lady who happened to be his mistress. The lady came down and walked away. All through the night I couldn't sleep in that hotel with the thought of police coming to arrest all the occupant for the night for interrogation. Luckily nothing of such happened.

I pray he will be rescued as quick as possible and alive. Port Harcourt is really a battle field for cultism and kidnapping.

  7. My friend kidnapped for N15m on January 2nd and released on Jan 10th after ransom payment. I abandoned work at my site, flew to Abuja, changed my flight date and head back to US. Patriotism? Forget it. Anyone who cares to develop Nigeria should go ahead. As for me and my family, I ain't stepping foot in that country again. The site is fenced and will lie fallow for my great great great grandchildren. I hope.
