Osinbajo Says Buhari Has Ordered That Ex-SGF Babachir Lawal And Former NIA DG Ayo Oke Should Be Prosecuted

 Well.Well,Well....................

The Vice President Prof.Yemi Osinbajo While speaking at a dialogue organised by Christian Youths in Lagos State, under the aegis of the GRILL,said President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the prosecution of sacked Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr Babachir Lawal, and the Director-General of the Nigeria Intelligence Agency (NIA), Amb. Ayo Oke.

Osinbajo said the duo, Lawal and Oke were recommended for prosecution by the committee he chaired.

“I think the first thing for us is that the report was acted upon; the former SGF was dismissed.
“Secondly, the president has directed that the SGF and former DG of NIA should be prosecuted.
“So, we are expecting that prosecution will take place. The next of course is that criminal allegations will be filed against them and the prosecution process will be completed,” he said.

Osinbajo said President Buhari deserves to be re-elected because of the way he had been able to address grand corruption, which was the main problem that led to the destruction of the nation’s economy.

  1. I don't think corruption has been addressed... nah! I can't even give kudos. The things happening underground (and "overground") is alarming yet so silent.
But okay. My hope is that Nigeria will regain it's glory someday. I believe

    1. I feel so sorry for Osinbajo. He has to perfect his lies every day and I'm sure it will be eating his soul away except if he too has lost conscience.

  8. I think governance is a continum. If we have some1 who perhaps is stricter than Buhari in near future, we could also do better. But I must say you are correct. We citizens need to be sincere in our various positions.

  13. Haba Pastor, it's true that Osinbajo recommended the sack and prosecution of those two last year. I think it would be a year in February or March 2018, Baba do wetin he wants do. If it's true he has given the go ahead for the prosecution, how come it's happening now? What has he been waiting for? The timing is just suspicious.
