Police Confirm Dino Melaye Was Moved To DSS Clinic -Photo

The Force Public Relations Officer, Mr. Jimoh Moshood has confirmed the evacuation of Senator Dino Melaye (Kogi West) from Police clinic.

Yesterday, some masked police officers had stormed the police clinic and whisked away the embattled senator.

Moshood told Channels TV that Melaye was moved to DSS Clinic in Abuja for further treatment.

The Senator had claimed in an interview with journalists on Monday that he was not fit to travel to Lokoja where the case of culpable homicide was being investigated by the Kogi State Police Command.

He had requested to be transferred to Alliance Hospital or the National Hospital, Abuja, for better treatment; but the Police had rejected the idea, stating that the lawmaker was getting the right treatment at the Police clinic.

DAILY POST obtained the above picture of the senator lying on a beach matress in front of the DSS clinic in Lugbe.

    1. The innocent in Nigeria most times becomes victim by oppression. Dino haven't been proven guilty yet but with the way the police are handling the case, we can all see they have perfected judgement even before the court hearing.

    2. His invitation by the police has been since July last year. He didn’t honour it. Letter was also sent to the Senate. This Johnny bravo wan prove say him strong but he is just like Nnamdi Kanu. Dey only sabi noise with no action. Na chicken liver dey get.

  3. "the Police had rejected the idea, stating that the lawmaker was getting the right treatment at the Police clinic."

If he was getting the right treatment at the police clinic, why then transferred him in a commando gestapo style to the DSS clinic? What is the difference in the two clinics? All I see here is a plot to frustrate Dino Melaye as to be unavailable to campaign and contest for his election as a major critics of this government. Remember, Dino Melaye is the man that exposed most fraud in the police and also the budget from the Presidency.

I am not exonerating Dino from any crime, but I believe this has gone beyond prosecution but rather persecution.

    2. “Remember, Dino Melaye is the man that exposed most fraud in police and also the budget from the presidency”. Classical foul and extremely brutal lying sentence that deserves a Hollywood Lie of Fame crown. The fraud in buying extremely expensive cars? The padding which he and other senate members are also involved? Dino knows that he is not winning the election if contested because Smart Adeyemi is decades ahead of him. You said he supported the ‘monster’ that we have now but don’t forget that Dino only won the senatorial election because of the goodwill of the same monster which he doesn’t enjoy any more. Furthermore, it is Dino delaying his own campaign knowing he has no chance but rely on his father Saraki. If not, he would have done himself the best favour by going to Lokoja honourably by himself to face his court charge. In that way, he wouldn’t need all this drama of pretence and child’s play that you seem to love. They called three different specialists to check him and they certified him to be fine. What else? This was the same man who claimed to be outside Abuja and would honour the police upon arrival. But Lo and behold, he was in his house playing games. It was the same house, immediately he came out of it that he started pretending to be sick. Did the police touch him? No one did. Dino cannot be considered a major critic of a government which he is involved of siphoning the wealth of the masses to buy flashy cars, celebrate parties, sponsor useless music videos, etc. A senator of a country? Mr man, better go sleep than this usual emotion based ranting with no flavour to it. I better use my day for something meaningful than to spend my important hours reading meaninglessness in your comments. I think it is wasteful to engage you. I quit.

    3. The thug of a senator that came to the assembly and hijacked the mace, Senator Omo Agege of APC, what has happened to him? The Rivers State APC chieftain and factional chairman that killed and was imprisoned but released by the connections of Abuja Port Harcourt APC guys, why haven't the police chase him like Dino Melaye? Should I called his name to you? What is good for A should also be good for B. No sacred cow... Why transferred him from police to DSS clinic? Is there something they are up to? Let shame fall on you if you engage me on discussion here again as you called it wasteful. Then I will know you are a waste being.

    4. Anon 08:11 give it a rest, we are equally tired of your epistles. Leave our Teejay for us like that.

    5. Anonymous 08:11, I concur. It is truly a waste to ‘engage’ people who use their emotions to argue. I always said that about teejay. If We were him, we would focus on working on our English construction and grammar than what you called child’s play. What is your name please? I have seen your comments here several times?

    6. Anon 8:11, you can’t quit o. We need someone to keep this guy on the check. His last two sentences is a way of not wanting you to challenge him anymore. Please continue to challenge him if not, he’ll continue with his comments.

    7. I laugh at your foolery thinking anyone can challenge me here to silence. That person is yet to be born. If you don't like my comment, then skip or better deal with it hahahaha... We mustn't all reason the same or have the same opinion. The best anyone can do is to cry over my comment, which I don't give a damn about it. I repeat again, whoever didn't like my comment should hang themselves if possible to the nearest transformer.

    Dino may be acting...

But the way the average Nigerian accepts dehumanising treatment befuddles me.

I laugh at the "Giant of Africa" whose citizens are treated with less dignity than ROTTWEILERS in other climes!

Dogs are accorded better respect than y'all.

Make una kontinue dey hail the police for the dehumanising treatment las Las na una door e go finally reach.
