Police PRO Dolapo Badmus Sends A Warning Message To All LGBT Candidates In Nigeria

Police PRO Dolapo Badmus on her instagram handle says the Anti-gay law signed by ex-president Goodluck Jonathan is still active......

"If you are homosexually inclined, Nigeria ?? is not a place for you.
There is a law (Same sex Prohibition Act) here that criminalizes homosexual clubs, associations and organizations with penalties of up to 14 years in jail.
So if you are homosexual in nature, leave the country or face prosecution.

But before you say does these matter?! Kindly note that anything against the law of the land is criminal and all crimes will be punished accordingly no matter how small you think it is.

The law says, “A person who registers, operates or participates in gay clubs, societies or organizations, directly or indirectly makes public show of same-sex amorous relationship in Nigeria commits an offense and is liable on conviction to a term of 10 years.”

Anyone convicted of entering into a same-sex marriage contract or civil union faces up to 14 years imprisonment.
All LGBT candidates in Nigeria should beware."

That's the only line you gays come up with, each time you are being reminded of the consequences of your dirty actions in Nigeria. There's a law prohibiting gay practicing in this country. Go and read it up.

She's just sounding it as a reminder to y'all.

      Well done Officer!

  13. Dolapo while you're at it, make sure you also arrest those that kill people for money, kidnappers,G guys, thieves both in the church and in the government. That way, we know you people are impartial in your fight against crime. Why criminalise them though? Or is lesbianism not a sin against God, same way telling lies is a sin? I'm not in anyway supporting Gays but let's stop being hypocritical.

  15. Misplaced priorities...what people do behind closed doors is no one's business. I keep asking people how does someone else's sexual preference affect you or your business or your bank account...The LGBT Community is bigger than most people know it.

I can say it anywhere that there is at least one Gay person in every Nigerian family, so it's high time people stop worrying themselves about the GAY PRIDE for it has come to stay.

  17. In as much as I am against homosexuality, you have no right, I repeat no right to decide how someone should live. You don't feed them or Carter to their needs. Even abroad that the government provides the basic things they need, the government is not against its citizens' right.
