Euros was N108 and Pounds 290.......

Hmm let us watch and see whether it will return to the high prices after the elections, then my people you will know that the suffering Nigerians are going through is deliberately man made!!!
Big Brother Naija reality star Kemen was at a Bureau de change and posted(and deleted) a video from there talking about the drop in rates and asking Nigerians to vote wisely.....

  2. Now the plot unfolds. How did Kemen know to do a video? It was supposedly a Google glitch. Everywhere, the lowest was 358 per dollar. It is a scam that researching Nigerians unveiled even before it could take off

  3. Google Africa in a tweet confirmed its aware of the error saying, 'we’re aware of an issue causing inaccurate conversions for Nigerian Naira currency, so we will remove the conversion onebox from appearing in search results until we are able to diagnose the issue'.

The issue has since been fixed and at the time of this report, according to google one dollar, is now equivalent to 361.75 naira.

  6. Haven't we be justified that the government is a scam? Stella the official rate of 365 is for the poor masses, there are some cronies and families of Mr President that have been exchanging 184 to a dollar since 2015.

    2. Teejay the way you talk so authoratively about things you know nothing about is disgusting.
Next time learn to use the word "allegedly". This is information you heard. Can you truly confirm the presidents peeps change money at that rate or you heard it.
I hope the way you carry false information you're not sure about doesn't get you in trouble in real life.

    7. I say this I know and not just assumption. This were the words of former CBN governor and the current Emir of Kano.

"As many commended Emir Sanusi for his timely statement on the Nigerian economy, others however, chose to focus on a particular statement he made which many see as "carrying weight" as it suggests something quite interesting.

Sanusi while delivering a lecture on Wednesday at the 15th meetings of the joint planning board and national council on development planning in Kano, titled ‘Nigeria in search of new growth model’, has made some shocking statements which attracted commendations from economic experts, but concern to ordinary Nigerians.

But we have created another set of millionaires since 2015 from foreign exchange.

He accused the Buhari led administration for indirectly following the path of recent administration on issues relating to financial fraud. He puts it as quoted below:

‘’We can always talk of the policies of the previous administration and we talk of oil subsidy and how it turned people into oil millionaires.
But we have created another set of millionaires since 2015 from foreign exchange.

‘‘The people telling the government that if you devalue people will suffer are the ones benefiting presently. They bought the dollar at N179 and price their goods at N300.The poor pay the price of a devalued currency, the rich take the profit.

“You may not like it, but that is the truth. Any system that allows you, with one telephone call, to make N1bn without investing one kobo; the system is wrong,” Sanusi added.

    8. Why the fuck are you people gunning for Teejay, what he's said is #fact. What fucking proof do we need in a country where anything goes....abi are we saying we don't know forex rates are different for students and business men. It takes nothing then to assume the status and move your money.

    9. If Sanusi a former CBN governor who is on the know can say this, then why won't you believe me? Do you know the Muslim pilgrim to Mecca often gets their dollars exchange rate different?

@Jackie, if I respond to you I doubt if Stella will enable it. So needless, I will let it slide.

    Aboki.fx comes back up

Let us remember that Nigerians use google search more. In fact, I used yahoo search for the first time in ages last night.
Let us also remember that we are always on aboki fx to check conversion rates. Not many people use CBN database.
Let us remember that google has an office in Nigeria, Yahoo doesn't.

This is pure monkey management. They tried to play on our intelligence but we did not fall for it. The dumbos penetrated those they could and felt they could scorr points. When we showed them we weren't having it, they addressed themselves.

My own is, if google nigeria can be penetrated, then its sad.
