Labour Room Drama 253

Hmmmm.....

Hello Stella,
I want to share my Labour room experience.

My pregnancy journey was very smooth with no form of morning sickness or symptoms sef and I registered early in a "big" hospital without asking for the leading of the Holy spirit. Months into the pregnancy, the Holy Spirit kept telling me to leave that hospital as it wasn't where I will deliver.

I looked at the size and professionals there and continued going having with me supernatural child birth book. I read, chewed and ate that book, word for word, scripture for scripture. By the seventh month of my Pregnancy, During one of my meditation, the Holy spirit warned for the last time, and said his presence won't go with me next time to the Hospital.

Bvs, at that time I was 7months gone, I stopped antenatal, got my routine drugs and sought the face of God on where he wants me to birth my baby. All through the 7months, I didn't go in for antenatal but kept taking my drugs and praying. Entering into the eight month, I had a leading to ask my neighbour where she had her 3 kids, and as she responded, I heard a quiet voice, "that is the place".

I fixed an appointment with the mid wife because the hospital was even closer to my house than the previous place. When I and hubby got there, I felt peace and was asked to rerun all the test I had done before especially my genotype.

She said if I am AA, she will register me despite coming in at 8months. All results came out great with a big AA staring at her. I registered and she asked I go for scan. The night before the scan, I dreamt and saw myself at the Scan center and everything was well. I was so happy because I knew God was with me.

Antenatal commenced and everything was going fine. Few days before my Edd, I dreamt that I gave birth safely, saw the face of my baby and the same midwife attended to my delivery. I was overjoyed and began the count down because I glowed all through that pregnancy.

On the last day of the 40weeks journey, exactly the end of nine months, I started having contractions and I was amazed at this God for His timeliness. Not a day before the 9months ended and not a day after. The midwife asked me come In by midnight because she didn't want me to sleep at home.

By midnight 12am to be precise, I and hubby strolled to the hospital because our bag was already there, before we left, we had an agreement prayer that before morning, I will give birth safely. Armed with my supernatural child birth faith, we set out.

We walked there gisting and laughing, thanking God for a successful 9months.
When we got there, the midwife checked me and Said I will give birth before morning so I should just keep strolling at 2.45am almost 3 hours when we got there, I started having contractions, urine drained out in between but I was waiting for the one that will make me shout as people around me told me I will shout because of the pain.

This contraction continued however not painful and I was just singing and praying in tongues while my husband was looking at praying inwardly.

By 5.45 am 2 hours later, when she checked me, I was fully dilated and it occurred to me that I just had supernatural contractions, I pushed out my baby without tear, immediately placenta followed I was still singing and thanking God. It dawned on me, no drips, no tear no nothing. By 5pm same day In the evening we were discharged. Apgar score was so great.

Till date, we have never gone back to the hospital except for immunisation. This is my testimony cum delivery story. All Glory be to God.
Thank you for reading.

*I just believe apart from God you got lucky....It is wrong not to go for ante natal when you are pregnant and be believing God,IT IS WRONG!!!

Constant scan and checking of the important things is necessary.health care system is so bad now that people have resigned themselves to thinking oce all is OK its OK.....
Your state of mind determines sometimes what happens..you were convinced your neighbour had the best at where ever she birthed and that was why your mind was set on going there.....Trust in God,tie your goat!!!

    1. Stella me i don't agree with you. That up there was how all my 4 deliveries went. No tear no nothing, but supernatural intervention. For my 1st pregnancy i registered at 7months in upth. But before then was taken my routine drugs. Tummy was flat,no change was just glowing all thru. But the word of God was my daily dose. Hubby and i had our prayer of agreement. Went home also same days of delivery. Faith is the key word.

    2. I wonder o. Pregnancy and childbirth is by God's grace. Wicked people deliver safely same as born again, wicked people have complications, same as born again, so it's God's grace.
      Congrats all the same.

  4. While I agree with the fact that she shouldn't have stopped going to the Hospital at a point, Stella, i feel like you are downplaying how detailed the Holy spirit can be and how much he is interested in our lives.

Yes, even to the things we think is too minor for him to be concerned with.
If you have ever experienced it, you will understand what i am talking about.

Congratulations Poster. May God keep you, your baby and your home.

    1. Stella, stop downplaying people's faith. It is wrong!
I have learned so much from her chronicles and i will pray more once i get pregnant .
Personally, God speaks to me through dreams, before anything happens in my life, i see them in my dream.
Don't criticise what you don't understand

  5. Congrats on your safe delivery. Like Stella said you were lucky. Some people were not as lucky as you. I remember my first pregnancy in 2011 where some one advised me to try another hospital that wonder happens there. Na so I carried my stupid legs waka from my initial hospital to this other one where I lost my child. I thank God I didn't loose my life either. It was a terrible experience.

    1. Sorry for your loss. I pray that God will heal you.

The poster didn't say her neighbour told her where to go. She felt led to ask and it dawned on her where she should go. That a person who doesn't even control their own breath, says wonders happen in a place doesn't mean God spoke.

    2. @Amazing Grace
That's where prayer comes in. Before you take any decision, ask the holy spirit to lead you... if it's the will of God, you will see the signs.
      Sorry about your loss *hugs

  6. Not to rain on your parade, but like Stella said, it was quite careless of you not to go for your antenatals and checkups.
A sound Christian knows to balance "Wisdom" and "power" properly per time. Remember, faith without works is dead.

God couldn't have told you not to do those things.
You'll be shocked at the amount of women who not only chewed, but sipped, licked, and munched on "supernatural childbirth" with mountain sized faith, but still "supernaturally" survived complications of different shapes and sizes.

Congratulations on your safe delivery ma'am. From your story, your communication pattern with God is quite admirable.
    God bless your family.

  10. Poster I thank God for you because only he can do such miracles. Stella I disagree with you o,there is a level of spiritual relationship you will have with God and he will direct your minutest activity including drinking water. .yes! !drinking water. God will never lead you and make mistakes. His wisdom is folly to the world. The key is make sure u hear from him and obey to the letter. That book, supernatural childbirth was written under the ministration of the holy spirit because God's works are trailed with miracles and testimonies.I tap into birthing my twin boys o.

  13. But Stella, if she heard the Spirit of God say He won't go with her to the hospital she had chosen before, where was she supposed to go for the antenatal in the meantime? It's not like she was idle and faithing it to give birth at home. You're in Germany where many doctors' heads are correct. In Nigeria, the rate at which pregnant women and babies are used for rituals - you really don't want to know. As a child of God, I can confirm that the worst thing to hear from God during a crisis is "Did I send you there?" He's not blaming; na just question. One will have issues in life anyway and we should have commonsense, but you don't want to create issues for yourself by going where God didn't send you. It's one thing if you didn't hear (like when Joshua honestly didn't know that Achan had taken something the children of Israel were to destroy, and God allowed a tiny city to defeat them in battle). It's another matter if you heard clearly and deliberately disobey. Nobody can blackmail the Spirit of God into going where He already said He's not going. I've been around hospitals all my life and I'll tell you straight up that even with best intentions, doctors don't know everything.

  14. Stella, I beg to differ. You cannot mix 'God' and luck together... Impossible!
It was God's favour that was tangible in her delivery. You know why? I loved that she not only heard a divine instruction from the Holy Spirit, but also acted on it.
I can bet if she had continued with the previous hospital, complications beyond control MAY have emerged. Or even they would have swapped the babies...or somethino the Holy Spirit wanted her to avert.
But staying a whole month without antenatal is detrimental to your health and baby's. I understand you did that to "wait on God" but the Bible says, "Wisdom is profitable to direct".
Except you were led of the Spirit to steer clear.

    1. Anon 14:00 thank you! When God is in a matter, there's nothing like luck! God is precise, luck is gambling. If she had stayed with that hospital, it wouldn't have ended well for her.

  15. Na wa for this kind spirituality, I had a friend who was as spiritual as you, after experience during her first child birth, she forget that matter and faced reality. Uneasy pregnancy and child birth does not mean God is not with you mbok. I don't like this kind story it shows Nigerian in us and why our leader still deceive us with religion.

    1. Oh keep quiet.

There's a difference between being brainwashed by religion and being in a relationship with Jesus.

I love this story and it shows how God is interested in even the littlest details of our lives and is actively pursuing His own and guiding them in all things.

    2. That a person faces challenges doesn't mean God isn't real. The same way one person genuinely serving God will marry at 24, another also genuinely serving God will marry at 42. Does that mean the testimony of the person that married at 24 is not real? Is it not God that was with the one He kept till she was 42 before wedding? Your interpretation of how God works may be why your religious leaders can deceive you.

I'm the wife of a medical professional. My husband KNOWS his job. But we have both seen things that have no medical or logical explanation; things that aren't supposed to be possible. And we trained in the abroad! Things that not even super-intelligent consultants abroad could explain. I'm a very rational person and my research skills are on point; if something is fishy, I can find it. But I have seen situations with my own eyes that medical reports say something else, but God.

Don't begrudge someone her testimony out of bitterness. That your friend made an error or God chose to answer her in a way she didn't anticipate, doesn't invalidate the experience of the poster. And no, I am not the poster.

  23. congrats but i agree with stella, if you live abroad, you will agree with stella. that is why there are lots of children born with different disabilities in nigeria that were supposed to be picked up by scan pr blood test, i am currently pregnant and after a visit to my midwife , they discovered i have high glucose which can cause pre emclamsia and so many things. assuming i dont go for antenatal , how will they know this thing? disbaled chdren are picked on scans here abroad and you have the option to continue the pregnancy or terminate. too much of religion is affecting us.even bible says faith without work is nothin

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Anon 16:08 I find it very difficult to believe that excess glucose, pre-eclampsia that didn't show in month 1-6 will suddenly appear in month 7. I don't like to say anything is impossible but I have lived abroad, my husband has lived abroad and neither of us has ever seen such a thing. I've never seen or heard of pre-eclampsia suddenly manifest without warning in the third trimester. The poster didn't go for ante-natal for one month and these conditions will suddenly show up when scan didn't pick them up before? How and why? From where, please? If such a thing happens, the person needs Jesus, oh - cos that is not normal.

      Delete
    2. All you need to do is google preeclampsia. It is a 3rd trimester disease. Same with diabetes in pregnancy- usually a 3rd trimester disease. So yes, it is not only very possible, it is the norm that you have no symptoms in early pregnancy and subsequently develop the disease in late pregnancy, usually in the 7th and 8th month.
This is the reason you are booked for your antenatal at a greater frequency towards the end of your pregnancy.
I shudder at boldness of your ignorant statements.

      Delete
    3. Anon 21:09 ah I see where you're coming from. Every doctor's worst nightmare - the patient who goes on Google (containing opinions of every Tom, Dick and Harriet) and suddenly knows everything. And everyone else is ignorant or against them because they're not catastrophising like you wish. Madam, I'd advise that as you made the point of saying you're abroad, you actually exercise wisdom by getting off Google, humbling yourself and listening to trained doctors there who are actually paid to work on you - before you work yourself into a frenzy and inflict illnesses (including Munchausen's) on yourself and your child out of nothing but your ignorance & irrational fears.

      Delete
    4. Madam 21:09 pre-eclampsia usually starts around 20 weeks. Unless my Math is really faulty, there's no way 20 weeks is third trimester. And there are (physical) symptoms, which you and the hospital should pick up on before the 7th month. Unless of course, you're currently going to one backwater, illegal place - because those exist abroad. I wasn't going to bother replying you, but the shocking inaccuracy of your comment is the kind that can make one question your ability to parent any child. You probably got your info from some random mommy blogging site, person at Tesco, or bush doctor. Yet you're here writing rubbish because you want to prove you're abroad, just to discredit another woman's experience. Be guided. If certain things (including pre-eclampsia) are not picked up before the seventh month, better change to a real hospital and start praying cos you need serious help.

In the meantime, let me go to your Google and educate myself on how 20 weeks translates into 7months or third trimester. RME.

  24. All's well that ends well. Congratulations Poster.

  25. People tapping into this testimony. Please, read it again. You will see that she has a very personal relationship with God that's not based on "give me, give me". You will also see that no pastor or prophet was misleading her, she didn't outside her brain to any "daddy in the Lord", drown herself in anointing oil, eat so-called blessed coconut or any concoction, or do any of the rubbish that Daddy Freeze keeps shouting and begging you not to do. She changed hospital based on her personal convictions, she didn't say "my church mummy say I must push when doctor said CS cos Hebrew woman". Poster built her relationship with God and knows Him as her Father, not that sixty-three degrees of separation thing Nigerians like to do - "my granddaddy in the Lord, twice removed". See how there's not even one place she said "my pastor say, my pastor wife say". The God that she heard is her God, not "god of my man-a-gad". Keep trolling Daddy Freeze. Be behaving as if your pastors have more of a right to God than you.
